I can't imagine going to the beach wearing shoes! Funny how different parts of the same country have such different ideas. Would people in Melbourne go to the beach with closed in shoes on their feet? Really?
Sorry, my mistake...was looking at the wrong pic. In saying that, I'd go to a shop shoeless too if it was just a quick in and out.
It certainly would not be unusual in any of the beach towns in Northern NSW - I think Jade is showing Ed the most vunerable version of Jade, warts and all, and if he can't deal with that, she isn't going to change herself for him. Much to my disbelief, he seems to like it!
I think it's great - this is her environment, this is her. I like it that the time they're getting to spend alone together is somewhere she is comfortable.

Exactly! I think any man would love the fact that she´s very natural. She likes to walk along the beach with simple shorts ,a sweatshirt, no shoes, no make up.... and just enjoy the moment. These moments are wonderful, only you , your partner and ( in these case the dog) you can talk about a lot of things and really know the person, cause there´s no pressure. To be in a calm environment often can help you to share your thoughts with the other person more easily.

I think it's lovely that they are doing normal things together. It's not going to be always glitz and glammer.

It wouldn't be unusual anywhere I can think of on the Qld coast either...no one would bat an eyelid or even notice! It's such a breath of fresh air to see these two finally enjoying some peace and quiet and each other's company by the looks of things!
