Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

What I find interesting if Ed is such an arse to jade why the sugar sisters loved seeing him today, surely they have jades back and wouldn't like ed messing her around.

They wouldn't be able to tell if Ed was messing her around or not. They gave her terrible advice in the house re Ed and romance, I suspect not much would have changed. I got the impression they're not very quick on the up-take.

Eh...they aren't ever going to publicly insult someone, especially another HM. I think they'd even say something nice (or at least neutral) about Tahan.

At the same time, we are only speculating that Ed's toying with Jade and that they've all discussed it. We all find him to be a jerk but they don't necessarily find him to be the same.

I'm kinda laughing in my head, though, at the idea of Ed having to quietly plan out his every move to avoid being alone with Jade while they are in the same town. Keep it up, dude!

I've actually just got the tiniest seed of speculation happening in my head. I very much doubt it is true, but...Ed ran into the sisters this afternoon and the wording on their photo of themselves and Jade just strikes me as a little odd. I'm probably wrong - and hope I am. Ed is at his AFL thingy which I imagine goes for a while and then they probably do sporty jock stuff like go for drinks etc. The sisters comment of "spending the night catching up with Jade" just seems a little specific to say in advance - almost like providing an alibi for the whole night for Jade. Would Ed be planning on seeing Jade later tonight, but they want to keep it quiet?

I hope she spends the whole night with the sisters. Ed will be with a group of footy douchebags and I'm sure he would live to show jade off for one night for his ego. Actually that makes me cranky thinking about it.

I don't expect them to publicly insult him, we'll leave that to Tim and Drew, however their comment on his photo was "we love you Ed, so good to see you".

I think the first step in his avoidance strategy was to catch a late flight up there. From what i saw on Twitter, he had the morning free.
 
I hope everyone's wishes comes true.

I find it interesting that Jade is twitting a lot more than normal this afternoon. It's like she is making sure that we know she is not with Ed.

The sisters described it as the night while Jade described it as dinner.

How do we know that jade said she's too busy to catchup today!

Me too, stay with the sisters and their mother!

I think Jade has been handling this whole thing really well. Since before arriving in Melbourne nothing she has done publicly has indicated anything more than good friends. Even the NW photo she posted of the two of them was done after he had posted the one of them (with Matt). She is being realistic I think, and now has had feedback from her family and non-BB friends

l love it. Staying quiet doesn't work, just makes people speculate more.

Yep I agree with you and let's face it they were living in a bubble in the BB house, it wasn't realistic. Maybe Prince Charming in the real world isn't Prince Charming anymore.

I really hope Jade stays far away from him by her own choice. At the same time, as emotionally invested as she was in him, I'm sure it's hard to completely cut him off, though she may feel it is necessary for her own pride. Maybe her manager is on our same wavelength and is encouaging Jade to remain independent.

As for Ed's footy douchebags, he doesn't need Jade actually there, he just has to let them fill in the blanks while he collects all the glory as The Man.

I agree - she has been seen in so many photos with people today, and out walking her manager's dog, looking happy, busy and content. No pining or moping - just a girl who has it together and is in control (whether that is how she is really feeling or not)
