Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I know... it seems to have been such a long wait.
Jade is such a joy to follow out of the house, just as she was when a housemate. I was attracted to her persona from day one of her entering the house and she has remained my favourite housemate. I hoped along with some of you, that Drade may have continued on after the marriage task. Not to be though. Have never been an Ed fan, but tolerated him amongst many frustrations and irritations because he was what Jade wanted.
Still not an Ed fan... I don't like the Lower family and believe Jade deserves so much better. But it's about what Jade wants, so I remain waiting to hear what that is, or isn't. I'll support her no matter what.
By way of saying hi, and introducing myself to the oldies whom haven't come across me before and the newbies, some only having been with us for a few months, but so passionate and prolific, thanks for keeping the threads alive, and as anything that is 'alive' - it will continually change and shed its skin many times over with different posters coming and going, some staying, different moods, emotions, atmospheres and ambiance. All part of any forum; 'free-speech' ones, that is!
I've been around the boards since 2005, but under another Nic. I'm not the most prolific poster since then, as can be seen by my post count... but I am amongst the most loyal lurkers here, having been here every season of BB since its inception in 'the good ole years' of channel 10.
In enjoying posters, I don't go by post counts, or join dates, or clever avatar's, etc. It's about the quality of the posts and for me, it's best when peeps of differing opinions, strong emotions, strong egos and, yes, even strong 'issues', allow others their opinions, debate without 'low blow' personal attacks and in the end 'agree to disagree'.
Anyway... back to lurking. Love this thread and the Tully/Drew/Jade/Ed one.
I loved reading this post. Like [MENTION=35037]Drade 2013[/MENTION] said, it's always nice when people comment and say they've been reading and enjoying our posts rather than the ones that rush in calling us delusional and pathetic.
I've been a long time lurker as well. Probably since 06 or so, but I only signed up this year. I think I have this thread to blame for racking up such a pathetically bad high post count. It's become such a natural thing for me to read/post in here now. Before I would scroll through Facebook, etc but now it's become this forum.
I also think it's pretty rockin' that you have the guts to display a Tahlia avatar around here. How the Drully relationship has become so scarily celebrated in here when it was at the expense of someone else is terrible IMO. I get very angry when I see people putting Tahlia down for expressing her disgust on Twitter. She had to watch on while her Long-term girlfriend cheated on her on national television and there was nothing she could do about it. How painful and humiliating.

So what is going on with Melbourne's weather lately? Lady Jadey, for what it's worth, I was out with former Queenslander Giaan Rooney the other night who said she'd never move back to Qld, albeit it took a little adjustment to the weather. Melbourne is a great city to live although you'll probably find most Victorians migrate to Qld for winter. Hope you're enjoying the sites that your boy is introducing you to. Ballina is lovely but nothing beats the diversity of things to do in Melbourne.
My wife is from Bathurst so I appreciate the life changing decisions you & Ed are going thru....believe me, we've been there but happily we haven't looked back. My wife is my hummingbird who I owe everything to....she helped me get my shit together & reach the goals I set. Like your boy, I'm extremely private (although my photo icon might give me away.....not too many white Aston Martins in Melbourne....blame Clarkey for that).
Enjoy this special time together outside of the BB house, take your time in your relationship, shut out the trolls & negative people on social media & just take it all in.....this is your time. Ed is bloody lucky to have you in his life....he's smart enough to know that as evident by his thoughtful & caring posts. Cheers

It's funny because I think Ed believes that, because he made the comment in the DR about saying HE's the better looking one and maybe they'll believe him. I just don't get it, because they don't look that identical to me.
I know you are, I was just saying I totally disagree with whoever is saying that.
I don't think they look the same, not at all.

There is only one photo I've seen where Ed looks attractive - the one of him holding the puppy guide dog. His teeth look beautiful in that shot. Having said that, I have never understood what women see in him looks wise (or personality) But I absolutely agree that he is more attractive than is brother. They don't really look alike, there are similarities of course. Matt and his twin on the other hand look exactly the same.
I wouldn't personally pick either of them either lol.
I'd definitely have trouble picking Matt and his brother apart, at least if they were photographed separately. See them together often enough and you can usually start to pick little things to separate them.
I've always wondered with identical twins if sometimes their parents mix them up when they're babies and they interchange names lol.
