It does seem a little odd, after photos of Ed going to the airport to collect Jade, and all the Jade updates, that there wasn't even a 'have a good flight' or 'have fun at Dreamworld' type of acknowledgement of her existence and departure. Kinda like - episode done, purpose fulfilled - let's forget it and move on.

But I do love a good conspiracy...

It seems I read the Lower blog just in time because most of it has now been deleted. If they were doing it for damage control, it would have been done earlier. To me it's a sign that things went well last night.

Let's hope they're not going to go all private on us. Hoping we will get some more Twitter updates on their catch-ups at some stage. Maybe the next stop for them will be Ballina/Byron.

I feel like these quotes sum up all the inherent conflicts and dangers in the fight between public/private personas.

If they tell us things, we question WHY they are telling us.
If they don't tell us things, we start to imagine WHY they aren't telling us.
We want them to be separate individuals with separate careers and images.
When they separate from each other, we want to know why they aren't together.

I would hate to be the person trying to navigate this minefield. It also is a very good example of why Ed fought so hard NOT to be involved in an in-house relationship. No matter how it plays out, having a public relationship is not easy thing to do in this day and age.

Yeah I'm disappointed too.Well maybe they were feeling a bit sad that they won't see each other for the next couple of days,so didn't feel like tweeting.

True.

But it is the total invisibility of any acknowledgement that someone who had featured so prominently in updates (be that as friends or whatever) has left for something exciting (Dreamworld) that has me thinking 'chewed up and spat out' by the Lowers.

that family irks me so badly (Ed could be the male equivalent of Mother Teresa and I think I would still think poorly of him due to his family's words and actions)

Jade looks fresh and happy there. She must be glad to be back in the warmer weather lol.
I'm so glad Ed didn't fly up with her and is doing his own thing.
People can speculate all they like, but I applaud them for approaching it as individuals - if it works out great, it will have more chance of longevity if they establish real-life boundaries. To be in each others pockets at this stage would indicate to me that they are clinging on to the BB environment. I also hope that Jade will not be the only one who has to travel to meet up, because that would wear thin too. As much as we all want to know what's going on, I think it's a good thing for their relationship if they kept a certain amount of what was happening private. Seems no matter what they do it gets criticised anyway lol.

I agree with your point but the only thing for me is that after being so public for the last few days, we don't even get a goodbye and to be continued message. I think we all would have been satisfied with that and it would have put a lot of speculation to bed.

Jade does look happy in the latest video and maybe she's wearing sunnies inside to cover her red eyes.

That's what gets me. After 3 days of them (especially Ed) giving a heap of updates together, there was nothing today when she was leaving. And it's not like they've lost their phones or haven't been in a social media mood. Ed's posted pics with Nick and Tom and Jade's been posting since she got to Dreamworld.

Don't get me wrong. I'm happy about it. They don't need to document what's happening next, although it would feed some curious minds.

Jade is very intuitive. It was telling when she was talking to Tim towards the end - talking about the housemates who did not like her and the feelings she got from them. I am sure she processed feelings from the family, but will keep it hidden.
Quite surprised there was not even a guess who is leaving twitter.

I can't look at instragram at work (no idea why, my computer just won't let me) so I haven't seen teh photos or video.

And I do think I'm just in a particularly anti-Ed mood today, so am making assumptions based on that feeling
 
I think they´re completely fine, but they just want to keep the relationship more private ( or not so overexposed like the last days). Jade seems happy in the big brother house and it´s time for her and for Ed to spend time by themselves. And I agree, i think it´s good that Jade ( after a few days of relax with Ed) comes back to the big brother stuff, cause we don´t have to forget tha she came second.
BTW: Seems like Tahan and Jade are fine hahha :confused:
 
Jade has been posting more in her twitter account - she seem to be happy about it. In my opinion I guess that her relationship with Ed is over. I am kinda sad abour this.

I can relate. 9 days out of 10 I'm in an anti-Ed mood to be honest. I'm trying to look at it objectively and all I'm coming up with is a whole lot of contradictory information. I feel like we're in the LF thread trying to figure out who won showdown again.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I realized a few minutes ago that almost all of the personal stuff came from Ed. All of the pics she took of Ed were very impersonal. The most she said was complimenting him on his haircut, and that was just with the #lookinggood hashtag in the photo with Boog.

There could be all kinds of reasons for this, of course. However, she said in the house that he was going to have to chase her, she was done chasing him. I'm thinking she's going to stick to that, at least publicly.

I did consider that the other day - but Ed's total ignoring of jade leaving is what is bothering me. It's the polar opposite of his posting behaviour since Tuesday
