Not sure if this interests anyone or if my curious mind is running away with me - I was just looking at Ed's Instagram and noticed a couple of videos conspicuously not posted to Twitter (i'm new to both so could be missing something). They were of him, Matt and Jaz out for sushi and watching the Melbourne cup. United in their dislike of new evictee Drew, or united by something else? Maybe Jade hasn't won the battle for Ed just yet.

Or they were just hanging out as they were all good friends in the house...

I've seen him post some things to twitter and not to IG and vice versa, not reading too much into it.

Yeah could be. He has been hanging out with her a lot it seems, and they usually hang out as a group. I change my view on this guy on almost an hourly basis, haha. I'm leaning towards jerk at the moment. :-) Sorry [MENTION=35590]Pookie[/MENTION]
 
To be fair...him and Jas were always mates.
They would make an interesting looking couple, Jas is a very outspoken woman...you would think Ed wouldn't like that but he is ridiculous unassertive.
 
Tbh I always thought he was attracted to jaz... and you could tell she found him hot..he was always up her ass when she was in the house.
 
Really? I think Ed connected with Jazz at a platonic friend level, it does happen. Don't think he'd be interested in starting a romantic relationship with her, 1 night stand possibly but nothing more serious than that.
 
The thing about Ed's actions post eviction is that he actually hasn't done anything wrong. He's never put down Jade, he's said he wanted her to win even before he found out that his image sucks, he's said he'll wait for her, he's been active in trying to get votes for her, he's met her family and they apparently like him, he's not been seen partying with random women (that we know of) and he generally has done all the right things that a guy who cares about a girl in the finals of BB would do. Based on nothing but distrust of him (which may have been well earned), people are sure it's not real.

Jade's mom posted that Ed and her dad stayed up talking after the eviction last night and Fabio gave Ed the Sicilian Dad talk. She said this morning Ed texted to see what they were up to today. She said he was lovely, polite, and genuine. Maybe the whole family is just a bunch of suckers, but, still, wouldn't they know better than us? Certainly, neither of her parents had a positive view of Ed before they met him.

So, of course this could all be an act to save Ed's image, or it could be the real deal. Real or Fake, it would look exactly the same. Should we give him the benefit of the doubt? You know, hope for the best, expect the worst? That's what I'm trying to do at this point.

Joanne seems so sweet.
And about Ed, we will see how the relationship progress on the outside , but I´m so glad that he made a good effort helping Jade with the votes, and just the support is enough for me.

Interesting! Where did you read what Jade's mum posted?

I'm with you though - Ed is starting to win me over and i'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. Sure he could be trying to repair his image but i always thought he was a genuinely nice guy, just non-commital to a relationship untested on the outside world.

Yeah, I'm still mad that they made nice before Mike Goldman gave Fabio the chance to bash Ed in Italian on live TV.

But I have to say, I feel a little dirty having taken the time to write my previous post. I said a while ago that Ed has been the hardest HM for me to get a handle on, and, because of that, I'm predisposed to question everything he does. And yet, when I think rationally, I can't really fault him for anything we know about outside of the house, so I felt, in fairness I needed to say something....no matter how icky it makes me feel.

I hope for Jade's sake that he is genuine in wanting to give it a go. Whether it works out or not after that who knows but at least it will mean the intent was good.
