Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I just saw the show and I didn't think it was too bad for Jade. What continues to bother me is that they continue to use the HM's view of their relationship as the narrative focus rather than Jade's and particularly Ed's. We all know Ed has been repeatedly questioned and he's given some pretty positive answers (though safe and boring!) but instead of that, we get round 800 of Tim's view of it.

And I had to laugh at Tahan complaining about them only talking about their future and the eviction when that seems to be the only topic of conversation for the other HMs as well

I've long suspected that Ed is emotionally repressed and uncomfortable expressing his feelings verbally.I think a great deal of the initial problems in their relationship can be traced to that. Add in the "game" factor and the circumstances of their surroundings and it becomes very obvious that without Jade leading the way, nothing would have ever developed between them. That can be interpreted as her wearing him down but it can also be seen as her helping him to feel comfortable enough to get out of his head and become more open to his feelings. It's unfortunate that his emotional awkwardness has always made Jade look bad because all she's really done is go with her feelings, as uncomfortable as that must have been at times.

I've never liked Jaz. She seems so empty and had doll eyes that make it seem like there is nothing going on in her head. Jade is way to anxious and nice to ever bully somebody. She doens't like confrontation. Jas has always supported Tahan and wanted to form a cool group and be against Jade. Pot. Kettle. Black.
 
I think the fact that Tim openly said last night "I'm happy I hit that stupid bitch on the head" when referring to Jazz pretty much says what she was really like. That's a pretty nasty thing to say so she must have gotten to him. He, Drew, and Jade just couldn't stand her.
 
I couldn't either. I did not like Jas at all. I am almost caught up lol.

I remember something from yesterday about Tahan telling them it was a challenge, Jade was shocked because she just thought Tahan was being nice
 
I just got my very first pay from my new weekend job and am going to put it all on Jade. Just dont tell the hubby. ;)

I have a sick boy home from school today. Autism can make the little things so much harder. We are getting ready for school and he says nothing all morning. I go to help with his shirt since its dress day and he wears the button up shirt today and felt how warm he was. Took his temp and its 39.1. So I tell him no school today and that is when he starts to cry and says he doesn't feel well. Bless his little heart. <3 He would have just gone to school like a trooper. Have a doc appointment soon as the whole tell me if you feel worse or what hurts doesn't work with him. Looks like I get day time snuggles today. <3

Keep voting guys. If nothing else at least we will know that we did our best. :D

[MENTION=35199]Angel[/MENTION] Am reading an amazing and heart warming/heart breaking book called 'The Reason I Jump' by Naoki Higashida who has autism. It should be a part of the school curriculum and really, just essential reading.

Never seen so many conspiracy theories about one housemate before!!
I would like to say surely they don't think people are so stupid that they believe the crap they're spinning but then along rolls a comment agreeing just because it's negative..
Anything she DOES say is twisted around and misinterpreted into something it was never meant to be.

Come on guys, if you're not gonna like her at least make it about something you've seen on the show, not the bullshit you pull out of your arses :) :) :)
 
I was wondering earlier if the HMs knew about Jade's experience in INTM, because when she was talking to Ed about not winning, about willingly walking away, she said she would have to tell him something on the outside and I wondered if that was what she was talking about. She actually HAS walked away from a reality show in the past, and she's done it for personal reasons. I've never heard the other HMs talk about it, so I was just wondering if she had ever told anyone about the experience. I can't recall if she did.

I have not read that one yet, I will have to check it out. I really enjoyed the curious incident of the dog in the night-time by Mark Haddon. I have met a few people who read this at school as part of the english/reading literature. It really helps to understand how totally different the world is to them. And as sad as it is I totally understood why his dad did what he did. Sometimes its harder to explain the truth. <3

Agree. What would the people in the house and those watching have to bitch about this year if is wasnt for Jade? :P
And they make anti thread over and ove rbut yet if we were to try to make a new Pro-Jade thread it would be set on fire.
We are so much more accepting then they are. ;)

And thanks, he is happily planing minecraft lol It makes him "all better" in his words haha. He even tried the "coke makes me better" one too and I was like no, its fine, water works too lol.

He is so darn cute. I hope he is feeling better by tomorrow for trick or treating!
 
I feel that Jade is missing her family and wants to be in familiar territory. The relationship bashing her and Ed have received whilst doing the Xmas task is taking its toll. Also trusting Tahan wanted to hang out with them and then to find her willingness to embrace once again thrown back at her. It is putting doubts in her mind and she is trying to cope.
I saw a heading but no video to match that she and Ed talked about their parents yesterday.

Not sure about the other housemates but Mikkayla knows she was on it.

Jade was talking to Mikk about it when Tully was demonstrating to the sugar sisters how to do the catwalk.

It's strange because I've known about it as long as I've watched the show but suddenly I couldn't remember if the HMs knew. She watched the ANTM for her "reward" but that was all alone and I can't remember what, if anything, she told the others about it. I was just drawing a complete blank.
