Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

It was the Tim and the boys show tonight wasn't it. Good to hear Ed's comments to Tim about the relationship. No doubt the naysayers will still be brandishing Jade deluded and obsessed. Boog definitely has watched a lot of the show prior to entering the house, she always seems to ask a lot of questions that i'd like answered. Will be good to hear more of what Ed had to say about Jade to Boog tonight in tomorrow's show.

I dont think so. Jade is too nice, I dont think she could handle all the bad things being said by Tahan, even if its not about her. I dont think she liked that about Mik either, which made it hard once the SS left and the balance in the group shifted.

I agree. I also think that Boogs is her right arm because Tahan knows she cant win it. I dont think she would have viewed Jade the same way.

They are very light and dark those two. It might have worked for a while but it would not have ended well. Now Mik and Tahan could have been a team. Both mean and up for a fight but they seemed to respect each other in a weird sisterly way.

I think the reason why Tahan doesn't have many female friends is because she feels threatened by them.
 
Can I just say how sick I am of seeing a whole new anti Jade thread every time a word pops out of Jade's mouth? Talk about making something out of nothing to the max!

I pretty much expected this after the live feed updates this weekend. She was mostly silent and there are dominating personalities that make for way better storylines. They gave Drew the Ben visit and he's got his partnership with Boog to make it appear like he has more personality than he does. Ed, as annoying as he is, offers some conflict in the house. Jade is just trying to survive emotionally.

I think Tim senses the shift towards Drew and he tried to counteract it with the crying and the attempts to reach out to Jade and Ed, no matter how false and fake they felt. Tim desperately wanted someone strong (ie not Jade in his mind) to go out this week. He would be happy if either Drew or Ed left. Too bad the producers don't agree with him.
 
Jade needs to stay!!! It was Jade Drew and Tim at the start, then it was Tahan Drew and Tim. Let both girls stay people and both guys. Send Ed home, he was meant to leave weeks ago anyway and make it a good final week!!

And can I just say that BB is loving Drew. HM of the week is Drew, person who see's Ben is Drew, person who gets the person they want to see most in the world come in and kiss them Drew, person who is the best little brother Drew. My guess is all that Tully stuff was to raise the voting. Its all about the money this year. Tahan has to look good and stay because she is raking in the $$, Drew has the support of his fans/ Tully fans and even Ben fans. Ed has the rich family throwing cash at them and Tim is the guy that everyone has loved to watch. With all that cash in the house its no surprise they want Jade gone. Doesn't mean I have to like it and I am going to try my best not to let it happen.

For such a boring house mate they are sure getting a lot of enjoyment out of her.
 
^ To be honest I have a feeling the blatant "BB favours Drew" stuff is in response to all the "Tahan favouritism" calls they've been hit with. I think they're trying to hide it by making it look like Drew is the favoured one.

I agree with him. ;)

It makes me so mad because it all comes down to the hate people have for her. Any Tahan and Tim fan would know that she is no threat to them in the final but yet they want her to burn anyway. If Jade goes home it would serve them all right to see Boogs or Ed win! That will teach them for not helping out our girl. :P

But yet they still couldn't show her stumbling over little brother over and over again.
I think its also to knock Tim over. Wouldn't want him taking her crown after all........

Eh, I didn't think that was too much of an issue to be honest. They showed her and Boog sitting there making fun of Tim over and over again in the backyard when he was clearly upset so I don't think they really did Tahan too many favours tonight. She's not up anyway so it doesn't matter.

I can't blame them because the general consensus seems to favor a Tim/Tahan/Drew final so they are voting to save the ones they like. Those votes are money for BB in a big showdown. Tully's image has been rehabilitated so she is no longer the drag on Drew that she once was. He gets away with a lot based on his looks alone so BB is just going with it.

Yep. Everyone goes on about how Tim is the puppet master, BB is the puppet master. He doesn't like when things dont go his way (like Mik being saved over and over and Jade as well, 3 times by HM's and 4 times by us. Its nice to see what not everyone can be manipulated but it sure feels like we are a dying breed these days lol

Her fans seem to think its funny though. I still think she has the win, as you said she isnt up this week so they are just putting in little bots here and there to get Tim and Tahan fans passionate about their fav winning for next week.

I hope Tim stays the Tim I loke. I have not watch live feed though so who knows if it lasts. I am sure that once its not longer him being laughed at that he will join in when they head back to Jade and Ed. We will see I guess.
 
One thing I'm hoping for is that if Jade DOES go Wednesday, she won't be hit with the "stalker" package that I'm sure they had prepped for her. There seems to have been a shift in the narrative away from that and more towards a storyline about them being separate from the rest because of their relationship. Hopefully she won't be humiliated should she be the one to go this week.

I sincerely hope that the things people write about in forums like this would not translate to how she's treated in person - people are getting carried away in attributing character flaws on her that just don't exist.
I hope that for all of them - it's going to be tough out there.
I'm so glad her dad's coming over Nov 3rd and he'll make sure she's loved and looked after.
I just want her to feel like she has love and support instead of just detractors.

I don't mind Jade by herself, but find her excruciating to watch with Ed. She thinks Ed if too good for her, I personally think she's better than him, and watching her demean herself has caused me to lose alot of respect for her, I kind of feel sorry for her, but she has done it to herself. But saying that, I've been fixated on guys like that myself, and because of that it makes me want to slap some sense into her more. I just want her to get out of the house whenever she does, and them play the clip of Ed nominating her. She told Ed, Tim doing that to her was a big friendship breaker, so I'm hoping that makes her wake up and realise she needs to move on. Not a complete Jade hater, I just want the girl to have more respect for herself, because I think she's got so many qualities and should have more confidence in herself when it comes to relationships.

You want to slap some sense into her but i'm sure your friends didn't slap sense into you straight away. Give her some time to learn the lessons that you have.
