Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

When I found out that her dad was liking posts and then went in there I had to do something. She deserves to have the support and respect that she gives everyone in the house who has needed it. <3
Plus her dad seems pretty great and I cant imagine how that would have been as a parent. My kids will never be doing anything like this...

I honestly don't know how parents handle it!!!
I have been upset enough today on behalf of my son... in drama class at school he was forced to play a female role and they want him to dress up.
He's 12 years old, the smallest kid in his class, and is a bit uncoordinated and not great at sports, so he ALREADY gets called names.
I've been in touch with his teachers asking why the heck he wasn't swapped into a group with a male role and girl swapped for his and that I refused to allow him to be subjected to something that would put a target on his back for ridicule. Kids can be nasty at that age!
I've been worked up about it all day so I can't even imagine how parents of people in the house cope with the abuse out there.

Jade actually seems to be getting quite of support on Facebook this week. I mean obviously there's the usual amount of hate, but I'm seeing a lot of supportive comments as well.

Oh and I forgot to say earlier, last night I won a trivia competition through work and I got a $100 Facebook credits voucher...Annnnddd I just realised that you can use them to vote on BB. Since I don't play any of those games through facebook (apart from a bit of candy crush now and again) I'll certainly be using it to vote for Jade this week

I can totally see why you would be worried. My youngest has Autism and I worry about him every day because of how bad kids can be. Thankfully he is in grade one, ADORABLE and loved by everyone around him so for now he is protected but come high school, I just dont know. I pray that he can form enough really great friends now so that when that happens he never feels alone and always has support, both at school and at home. <3

On top of that, I don't know if this is just me, but Jade seems to be even a bit "off" Ed in the LFs the last couple of days. The last time I really saw her acting the way she usually does around him (i.e. happy and giggly in love) was two nights ago when they were doing the Little Brother task. Since then, in pretty much every video I've seen, he's always come up to her to try and get close and she just doesn't look keen, or he's been talking to her and she's just seemed generally uninterested in the conversation.

It doesn't seem like anything major has happened, but I do see a change.

I've seen a change in Jade too. I think as much as Jade said that she didn't expect him to say ilu back to her, the fact that he didn't and won't any time soon is no doubt hurting her. I've noticed in recent videos that he seems more affectionate, she reciprocates but just seems generally unhappy and sounds agitated when she speaks to him and everyone. I really think she's feeling isolated but she should try and perk up and enjoy her last days in the house more. After all she has got the guy she wanted all along at least for now, i'm surprised she's not enjoying it more.

That's awful Insomniac I mean if he's already getting teased and called names the teachers certainly aren't helping him by setting him up for ridicule like that.

I agree, I was happy to see so much support, even if each save post was spammed by tools. <3 I even had a not Jade fan stick up for me, good not fan fans lol.

I hope its enough and that no one makes the mistake of thinking she is safe due to last weeks numbers. Its a huge week, Tim, Drew (and Tully) and Ed (and family). It's going to take a lot to save her. <3

Well it's not like I have anything else I can use it for so this was the perfect solution. I was thinking of giving it away as an Xmas gift but I don't really feel comfortable giving someone something I won as a present

I just can't handle the stories at this point. I'm just going to try to just shut up and not reply to them I think. It would do no good.
I can understand if people don't like her because she's quieter than others, or they don't like how she is with Ed. That's personal preference.
BUT - I just can't deal with the stories been made up to demonise her and make her into this horrible person when that's never been the case.

I want her to win the whole thing now.. I don't expect that to happen, but for me the more outlandish the stories get in trying to make the other housemates into saints and Jade into something she's not, the more I want it.

This is what gets to me aswell, I just read an absolute doozy on Facebook.

They posted the LF video of the pairings for the Iron Man challenge. People are taking Jade's comment regarding 'rock, paper, scissors' to decide the pairing so out of context it is not even funny. It is clear to me Jade see's herself as a physical burden and feels sorry for the person who will end up with her, she even says to BB it is unfair and should be an individual challenge as she feels she's screwed Ed's chances. Then people start posting how Jade thinks she's so popular and all the boys are 'fighting' to be teamed up with her. I mean c'mon!

Another of my favourites was 'Jade fake crying when Mikkayla was eliminated' - i saw this posted at least a dozen times on one status.

I honestly have no problem with people disliking Jade but when they make up things which are COMPLETELY untrue to paint her in a bad light it doesn't sit well with me.

Interesting live feed update with Jade and Drew discussing their relationships with other people. I'm surprised Jade confided in Drew that she is terrified of her relationship ending after the show. I think her being terrified is one of the reasons why she's not enjoying herself as much as she should be. Would have been good to have seen a video of the convo.

Actually I want Jade to stay longer than Ed too I like Jade, not as much as Tahan, but I like her very much. Btw, I guess many fans of Jade are those who have a good heart like her as we tend to support whom are similar like us. You guys are doing a great job. Please keep up the great work & ignore haters.
