Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Yeah, I do actually feel the same. When I said it should happen I was looking at it more from her dad's perspective of wanting to give it to Ed more than Jade's. I certainly hope she finds out on the outside where she has her family and friends, and more importantly, not on national television.

Saying that though, if she felt betrayed by Ed and went away from him I don't think she'd go through it alone. I actually don't think any of the HMs (particularly Tim and Drew) have much of an issue with Jade. I think it's more they're trying to get rid of her to hurt Ed. I think if she really needed them they'd be there. Obviously Tahan dislikes her but even she doesn't seem to like that Ed is clearly using her.

I've totally imagined that, not as a rant but him telling her not to give her heart so easily when he's not worth it. I would love if he ranted at Ed himself in Italian about not hurting his little girl, and I wouldn't mind if he got in a couple of digs at his former son-in-law, Drew. Though, seriously, do you think her dad would do that to her on TV where he couldn't be sure of her reaction and when she wouldn't have any support in the aftermath? It would be very risky.

But speaking of Ed, I wish the guy would go back to being a complete dickhead because these occasional glimpses of a sweet guy are throwing me off. In this latest video clip in the Garden of Eden, he actually seems to want to be on a date with her and he really tries to reassure and relax her. Luckily, BB made them freeze before an irrational "awwww" could come out of my mouth.

And can I say once again what a clued in cookie Jade is? She knows BB is up to something. Ed really is her only blind spot and I think deep down she DOES have a clue about him, she just doesn't want to admit it.

No I mean here, in these discussions. I have picked up on someone who has a ridiculously similar style of broken English as well as expression on here. Reckon he found this forum through someone's mention on twitter. I'm convinced that it's him but I could be wrong. I don't think her dad would go off in Italian about Ed but that would be h-i-l-a-r-i-o-u-s, it's be like comedy inc. I think she is closer to her mum though, since she lives here so I hope we get to hear from her.

Ooooohhh I get you. Yeah, I've heard a few people mention that actually. Honestly knowing how they treat Jade they probably won't send anyone in for her and say she should be content having Ed. Ugh.

true but she hates being nominated so i think she'll try to not react at all as much as possible so she isn't nominated automatically

I just read some of the comments and it's so nice to see that she's actually getting so much support, when I last saw that page in particular (she has different fan pages) there were not that many fans cause that page was new and the fan page went from a 3 digit number to a 4 digit number in the space of today.

[MENTION=32689]hawke[/MENTION] they'll most likely send in his brother! I wonder how Jade will react to family members. must say I'm loving this task so far, wish they'd post more of it in the live feeds while we wait for Monday!

I guess that solves the "only females like Jade debate" a huge majority of the fans on that page are dudes. And not just the "I'm liking this page because she's hot" fans either. The type that actually vote and talk about her.

Just saw this article from Jade's hometown that interviews her mum as well. She says some interesting things. Like how they used to live in a teepee for a while lol and never had a TV.

I'm pretty sure Jade mentioned once that her parents are hippies. I think it was when she was in the PS with Tim.

Thanks for that article! It was really interesting to learn the things that her mum talked about. I'm really curious which family member they will send in for her.

Nick Lower: With only weeks to go I really do hope I see my brother standing alone in the house as the winner of BB 2013. But at what cost? To still be there is a huge tick, but I do feel a lot of negativity coming his way, not only from the public but also from the show.

Good to see former HMs and families speaking out about the bias.
