Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I haven´t seen tonight episode, but I was reading some tweets about Jade, and they´re really negative :( with the whole jealousy stuff) hope she be safe tomorrow with a good percentage. The only thing that she needs right now is Ed leaving the house. Her self confidence with Madeleine around doesn´t help her. She needs to realize that she´s not less that anyone else.
 
This is good for her tbh.
People are also feeling sorry for her, so I feel like she'll get more saves. :D
And I think this is gonna make Ed look more like shit cause he just comes across as real shifty and untrustworthy. Woo
 
Jade's comments in the diary room were very tongue in cheek i thought but of course the lemmings on Facebook/Twitter will go along with any bullshit story big brother tries to manufacture (Maddie/Ed love triangle), thus the hate for Jade over her "jealousy"
 
Okay, I have a question...
Do you think when she gets out that Jade will be more hurt by Ed's statements or Drew's? I think she's pretty clued in about Ed's feelings (or lack thereof) for her, so it won't be too much of a shock, even though she's desperately trying to change them. But I think she has no idea how petty and nasty Drew has been about her and I haven't seen tonight's show, but I'm reading that it's more of the same. Do you think it will upset her when she finds out later?

Probably, but she can find comfort in the fact Drew has had NO-ONES back in the house, so his nasty behaviour has not been confined to just her!

Are those people on twitter serious? I loved those diary room scenes of Jade, she seemed pleased more than anything haha - 'a little competition never hurt anyone'. She wasn't possessive or hanging around Ed after they entered at all, if anything we saw her chilling out more with Tim. More Tim & Jade please! I thought it was cute how Tim said that maybe that now Ed+Madeline might potentially get together that he might have a chance with Jade again. My fame male and female housemates together woo :)

Yes. I saw a lot of hate in their tweets. But is always like that, so...nothing new. I hope she gets a high percentage tomorrow!!. And I have read about Tim saying that he wants Jade back hahaha so sweet! I think ( and maybe I´m wrong) but the only times that I´ve seen Tim being extremely honest and kind is when she´s with Jade alone. I think he knows that he can´t manipulate her and also he see her as the most honest and transparent people in the house, so I think he feel that this may be an obstacle in his career to win but at the same time that gives him more confidence about her.

Ed hasn't really said negative things about her, he's just been too focused on what he believes the public thinks. I do think he likes her though and hasn't participated in making fun of her lately at all. However, I think Jade will be prepared to see what happens outside but I don't think she expects it. Which is why she's making the most of her time with him. I think actually she won't be surprised at Drew, not really. I think she'll be more hurt about Tim laughing about her with Tahan because Tim always tells her they are good friends and that Tahan is the one trying to cause trouble.

I'm not worried about her when she gets out, I think she'll find a path in life that makes her happy, and a partner who'll appreciates her. It just makes me feel bad to see people making fun of her.
 
Is it too much to hope that these idiot men and their fighting over/targeting of/using of Jade will just take each other out and leave Jade the ultimate victor? How sweet would that be!

Of the three, I think only Ed really appreciates Jade as a partner/ally in the "game". I think Tim is intrigued by her, knows she's basically honest and straightforward, but he sees these as weaknesses to be exploited, rather than strengths. I think he continually underestimates her understanding of people and their motives and thinks he can persuade her to his views if he just APPEARS to be honest with her. Drew I think has never recovered from Jade's rejection so his gameplay with respect to her is fueled in part by bitterness. The saddest part is that I think if he put in any kind of real effort, he could actually make it difficult for Jade to chose between him and Ed, should it ever come down to that. But for whatever reason, Drew seems to want to hurt her more than regain her trust and loyalty.

I think he just meant he wants her back as his friend (unless Tim is even more delusional about his chances with Jade than she is about her chances with Ed lol). It was nice to see him acknowdege the fact that with this Tim vs. Ed thing Jade has kinda been stuck in the middle. Add Drew in there as the silent assassin and I can see why she'd be insecure about her alliances and place in the house. Mikkayla has unfortunately thrown her under the bus before so I'm not sure how genuine their friendship really is. Apart from the Sisters I think Tim is the best mate she has in the house. As much as a hate to say it though I think it would be in Tim's best interests to try and get rid of her though. He doesn't want someone around that is close with Ed as well.

I don't like Madaline and I don't plan on liking her either, she didn't make a good impression for me at all. Ed has truly dug himself one big hole and his actions this week will certainly determine what he is 'truly' like. Is he really 'prince charming'?
If he goes for Madaline and abandons Jade I WILL BE SO FCKING FURIOUS because she's going to be a wreck and it'll make me sad to see her sad. Does he want the FAKE girl of the REAL girl? Then again knowing how stupid he is.....
I initially wanted him to purse her so Jade would wake up and realise what a jerk he is but now thinking about it more I couldn't imagine myself in Jades position if this were the case....

On another note, I adore jade I always will. She isn't my fave anymore, but I do have a soft spot for her. I think the bb game is too messy and ugly for her. She is too sweet for this game. I will still support her though and have still sent votes her way :) she is still top 3 for me.

I can just imagine [MENTION=34899]Splashedblue[/MENTION] going into the house as an Intruder - walks in, slaps Ed across the face, goes up to Jade and points to Ed "he's not good enough for you", then leaves :). She is far too nice for this game, and I hope she gets plenty of work after this!
 
I think Jade got a pretty good edit tonight.Let's hope it translates into enough save votes.She really does help make the show.

I'm glad Tahan and Drew said that Ed was reluctant to have a showmance in case it went sour because he was worried about viewer's perceptions.In the end he's given into his feelings. They also said that although he was playing it cool, there was something going on.

I also liked hiw they showed Ed and Jade's discussion about their 'special relationship'.He showed his maturity by recognising that it is hard to know if it's more because of their foreign environment but was happy to see how it goes. That convo confirmed to me that they are a house couple but were unsure if it would last beyond tge house.

I think BB will be disappointed that Ed and Drew said they won't get involved with the intruders,if only because they know they will look like scoundrels on the outside.Also Ed asking Drew whether he thought Maddy would target him cause he was single,in my eyes meant he was saying he was taken.Maddy apart from being a brunette,didn't seem to be his type from what i could gather.

Go Jade,hope she is safe tomorrow.
 
Good points [MENTION=30743]hughesy17[/MENTION] at least we did hear Ed saying that he's happy to take it as it comes and see what happens out of that environment. Read quite a few comments recently that still persist in saying that Ed has said that he won't have anything to do with her. That I think was before they started actually talking to each other and becoming friends. Not that I think Ed is great with the way he bumbles in articulating things with that big chin and jaw moving up and down like it's on a hinge.. but anyway, that's just my opinion.

Even when we see Jade talking and spending time with others, people seem to just concentrate on the edit she gets with Ed, maybe because Tim/Drew/Tahan are all talking about it. Maybe they should stop being obsessive as well huh...

ps.. I hate auto correct on my mobile phone. Comes up with the weirdest shit I never even typed close to that I have to edit 10 times before (and usually after) posting! Grrr..

While watching the episode tonight my partner actually randomly said the exact same thing...that he wouldn't be surprised if the 3 of them ended up destroying themselves and Jade went onto the final along with Tahan and Ben.

Don't think it will happen, and tbh I'm just worried about her getting through tomorrow at this stage, but still, it would be funny.

Anybody read the lastest dumb blog? This time by a bitch called Annie who was one of Ed's high school girlfriends and now I believe flat mates. I just had 'bitch' through my mind while reading this.....stage 5 clinger......jealousy is an ugly trait.....................
