It's because the producers are trying to engineer this whole Jade/Ed/Maddie triangle and the lemmings are going with it. If the show tells us that Jade was seething in jealousy over Maddie, even if we didn't see it, then she must have been seething with jealousy...despite the obvious fact that Mikkayla and Tahan appeared more pissed off than anyone.

The whole thing is complete bull. There's no way Ed would crack onto Maddie. He's way too image conscious. That exactly why the producers want Jade out. They want to keep Ed and for him to hook to with the intruder but they know that he doesn't have enough balls to do it while Jade is in the house.

Yeah I felt a bit sorry for Jade.
Jade's reaction was one of someone with little confidence in themselves, head down and arms folded.
Thinks she can't compete with Madeline.

That's ok Jade, you don't need Ed!!!

The public, in spite of what has been something of a cringeworthy journey watching her fawning over Ed has seen all her lovely qualities and I think its reflected in the latest eviction odds which has her very close to Tim and thereby safe.

I cannot see Ed make any move on Madaline.... even if he felt something for her, which time will only tell. He is SOOOO cautious as to how he is perceived that at this stage, he knows full well it would look like dumping the gorgeous blond for the newcomer which would go against him ( at least in his eyes LOL) If he only knew that in a straight one on one... with him and Mr Clooney.. .the public would save Mr. Clooney !

No.. Jade is going no where for a few weeks yet. I can see her staying over the sisters, Tahan, Mikkayla, Ed for sure, with a close vote if it was between her and Drew. I see Drew, Jade, Ben and Tim as the final four.

I agree with everything you've said except I hope that Jade will be in the final three.Why should it be all males as the betting odds say so I will be voting hard till that happens.Vote to save Jade!!!

You are absolutely right!If you have watched Jade from the beginning you would have known that her folding her arms is part of her normal mannerisms.Why make so much fuss over this.?The bb editors are trying to drag her down obviously to make room for Madaline to take her place.Sorry bb I see through this nonsense.

Please understand that when I say she's giving them material to edit, I don't think she's actually done anything wrong, other than be her loving, hopeful, giving self. Unfortunately, because of what the OTHERS say, and because of what Ed DOESN'T say, there is plenty of material to edit Jade into the "crazed stalker" character that they seem to constantly be pushing.

I do think Ed has grown to care for Jade as much as a self-absorbed jerk like him can care about someone else. He certainly doesn't seem to want to hurt or embarrass her, unlike Tim, Drew and Tahan. I think him telling her he's glad he met her is about as romantic as a guy who is so stuffed up in himself can get. By the way, can anyone make out what he whispers to her in that video at the end of their kissing? It's so weird how he shifts so quickly from the semi-affectionate guy to the distancing jerk in the blink of an eye. No wonder Jade is so off balance!

Unfortunately, I think the final 4 will be Tim, Ben, Drew, and Tahan. I think only Drew and Ed think about it enough to realize that the only way to stop a Tim/Ben/Tahan final 3 is to get all 3 of them up together against only each other. Unfortunately, Drew doesn't play the game enough to WANT that to happen and Ed is completely incapable of figuring out a strategy to make it happen. I think Jade would probably realize it from an analytical point of view but I don't know that she would ever want to try to play the game enough to actually make it happen. However, if she realizes that it could be the only way for her to get out Tahan and protect the people she still cares about (Ed, Mikkayla, the Sisters, Drew) she may be willing to put Ben at risk.
 
I read Maddie profile - If there's anything I want I keep at it until I get it. Shades of Jade.
Talking about Jade in the kitchen. What do these people want - 3 brass bands and a parade.
 
It's so obvious bb is trying get rid of Jade by bad edits both in print and on screen so as to pave the way for Mad.From what l've seen so far Mad does come across as self entitled and artificial both her demeanor and physical attributes.By comparison Jade is REAL and a natural beauty both inside and outside.
 
In the latest LF Mikkayla boasts that she is a stronger player than Jade and the sisters and she has a chance to be in the final 3.Way to go Mikk for alienating both Jade and the sisters fan bases some of whom have supported you as well!

Mikkayla's behaviour lately has just been sad. I didn't know she could be so nasty. Even if she thinks that why does she have to vocalise it? What's the point?
 
I'm kind of glad I won't be able to watch tonight show. I'm scared to watch how they are going to portray Jade on tonight's show.

You're the one who needs to lighten up and don't need to feel like you have to respond to every little thing that people say.

I really dislike people blaming the editing. It's a pet peeve of mine. No editing can make her out to be an obsessive stalker.. it's impossible.

btw, I don't not like her, I'm just disappointed in her. I thought she had great potential.

They could focus on other things but because they focus on Ed and her relationship with him they make it like she is really obsess. Do you actually believe that this is all she talk about 24/7? She has this great relationships with the sisters and Mikkayla but we hardly see it. She is also still very good friend with Drew but we never see that anymore. They have been very focus on this Ed thing for 2 weeks now and now that the female intruders have come in I'm afraid it will only get worst.
I'm done with this, I don't have time to be debating about this right now.

What you are complaining about is all editing. What they show and don't show is editing. I personally think Jade should know better than to gush about Ed on a daily. But we'll agree to disagree!

Well said, and I personally understood what you meant right away about being worried about the way Jade is portrayed. I feel the same way. Nobody is saying that BB is editing bits in there that aren't real obviously, that's impossible. However by only showing Jade talking about Ed it gives the impression that's all she does and it's obsessive. Obviously intelligent viewers know that these people are filmed 24 hours a day and they'll only use the few minutes of footage needed to push the agenda they want, however unfortunately most BB fans cant recognise that and they're happy to develop the perception of a housemate that the show pushes.

Mikkayla is another prime example. She's been given a terrible edit lately in the daily shows. All it's shown is her bitching. Now obviously that's not what she does all day. However by only showing that it gives that impression. That's why I haven't been so quick to jump on the Mikkayla hate bandwagon. Nobody in the world is completely good or bad. Everyone has differing levels of both in between. However by only ever showing her bad side it gives the impression that she's "all bad". That's why shows like this that are heavily edited are tricky.
 
Interesting observation - Maddie is focusing on Jade. Watch the vid - Showdown Lowdown. - In the end Jade leaves and Maddie follows.
Has Ed not taken too much notice of Maddie (If I stick close to Jade he will see me)
Also in the Who's the winner of BB task vid - Ed is in the diary room - Maddie standing next to Jade.
