Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I love Jade, but she is going full on crazy with Ed. It's not that she wants him .... or that she wishes she could have him ... it's things like "I don't want to hear him say he doesn't want me again ... it's annoying." And "Why can't we be a couple? What's wrong with that?" And "I feel like we're dating." Crying when he kisses Jasmine. Saying there should be a girl code just because SHE likes him even though he doesn't want her. And crazy things like that. When she mentions she KNOWS he doesn't want her ... and just finds it annoying when he says it and completely misses the meaning of what he's saying. The meaning is just not getting into her head at all.

It genuinely seems crazy. Seriously. She's even overheard him saying he would like Heidi's personality and Tahan's face and she still is after him. She mentions he never comes to her and she always has to go to him and she can't get the hint. She talks about him ALL THE TIME and cried about him in the diary room. He put her up for eviction and she's still after him!

If a guy was doing the same thing it would be just as creepy.

I love everything about Jade except for how she is with men.

Look if one is living in a confined space for a while cabin fever sets in so all emotions or feelings are heightened.Ed says to her he doesn't want her but his actions (the pashes and hopping into her bed) say otherwise,so no wonder her mind is confused(I think kisses and bed hopping would classify as dating as they are living in a bubble)I'm sure she doesn't talk about Ed all the time as it could be bb editing, like yesterday she had heart to heart talk with Ben about how family shape ones life,or moondancing with the others(without Ed).

Mikkayla I can understand. She is a little more machiavellian and Tim-like, so she would be happy to see such a big contender self destruct.

Drew wont tell her, because his ego was bruised a little, and also it would have been hard to broa ch it, after the marriage and his schoolboy crush. When Tim and Drew went into the PS, he still seemed a bit mocking and bitter -\they can't even talk to each other...' He knew what was going on, an unreturned infatuation, but he was jealous. Also, he hates Ed and is a bit disgusted = at the very least, disappointed - that Jade would choose someone like Ed over him. I think he thought less of her - ' Oh, that's all you want?' Now, he is happy to let it damage Ed's game.

Tim egged her on by proxy from the start.

Tahan isn't her friend, but would probably drew hadn't come out, and just as she did re racism and Mikkayla the other night.

I could have said it better, because the last line didn't come out when I was typing, but I didn't notice. It is corrected on my OG post.

So, is it an act of girl on girl aggression not to say something?

Wouldn't surprise me at all. On the other hand, whatever impression Tim might give or whatever he says has to be taken with a pinch of salt... better a soup ladle full of salt. If he really had a GF outside, why not state it outright? Because she doesn't exist. But giving the impression that there is someone can serve as an easy way out of situations when a girl INSIDE tries to get close to Tim, which makes him uncomfortable at the best of times. Tim does not know how to deal with the opposite sex in an intimate, romantic sense. So in the house he can always say, hey, don't touch me, remember I have a GF outside. This leaves him free to stew in his own gender and sexuality related insecurities without other HMs getting wind of it.
 
Why should Tim be jealous of Jade and Ed relationship?Apparently in a magazine interview Caleb was surprised Tim made a move on Jade as he was under the impression that Tim has a girlfriend on the outside.So Jade cops flack because gentleman Tim slept on the sofa while she slept on the luxurious bed.Wake up and smell Tim's BS(oops I mean Tim's strategy).By sleeping on the bed he doesn't cross any boundaries if there is a girlfriend,and come out of this a poor underdog begging for love.O Please get me a bucket as he would say!!

I'm not sure if it's aggression as such (or pass/ag), or just them not wanting to get involved with anything they can be pinned down on. The only real opinions I've heard them (well, the one who talks!) voice is that they love ice-cream and hate mean girls. Admittedly I could've missed a bit from them as I tend to glaze over when they are on screen.

She had Drew rubbing her back and cuddling while saying they are just friends .. and Drew had feelings. But he's not obsessing over her. He's bitter .. his ego is bruised ... but he's not saying "It feels like we're dating ... I don't see why we can't be dating in here .... I know she rejected me and that's so annoying so I'm not going to talk about that ... "

She cried over him kissing Jas and then tried to have him look at her see through underwear. And she really needs shorts that cover her butt.

It's like it always has to be her way. If Tim or Drew likes her ... too bad. But if she likes a guy then all girls must back off. She has claimed him. But she still wants other guys to like her. And if a guy doenst' like her .... well that makes no sense ... she picked him so she'll just have to keep trying.

I'm sure a lot of it has to do with being in the house ... because she's really lovely in every other way .. just the men thing ....

How old is Ed? Don't they think he is old enough to make his on decisions? If I was Jade I wouldn't want to associate with this family, they are so up themselves, not a very nice bunch of people.

And rightly so! Too bad it won't stop me from disliking his stupid brother!
 
[MENTION=34887]Autumn[/MENTION] I do agree that that she is acting crazy but you see that hysteria is part of the many symptoms of cabin fever.As for Drew rubbing her back it was the day after she was dumped by Ed so Drew being her closest friend at that time provided comfort when her feelings are still raw.It's not like he pash her or slept in her bed overnight.Again the Jasmine pash,it was just 24hrs after the dumping incident.It's easy to judge as an armchair viewer because we don't know how intense our emotions get in a confined space.Also the underwear thing,so what if she has a naughty sense of humour,are we to burn her as a harlot because it offends our sensibility?

Yeah, I really shouldn't be so harsh on Jade. I know they don't have any other distractions or people around and they're confined. It's just wish so badly this Ed thing would stop. I wish somebody would say something to her, but at the same time I don't think she'd hear it.
 
Okay I've slept on it and I take it back. I still love Jade...Ed obsession or no Ed obsession. She's sweet and can dance like nobody's business.

I also wish someone would say something but like I said before everyone in there has an agenda/gameplan.I would hope that when the facts are laid out sensibly to her she will listen.I also wish this Ed thing would stop so when he is up for eviction I will spend big to get him out.

Haha love it. Something always draws me back too. I loved the moon walk! Dances, sings, speaks two languages fluently. Show us more of your talents lady!

He's spoken to Ed's Jade hating friends.Remember jealous Heidi who gave him the third degree after anything happened with Jade.Then there was jealous Jas.No wonder he's been giving Jade mixed signals.
