Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

what frustrates me is that 1) Ed has made it clear he's not keen, and 2) Jade has said on many occasions she knows Ed isn't keen on her ...

YET SHE STILL CAN'T PUT 1 + 1 TOGETHER

She is soooo deluded, which I find sad because I think Jade is a really, really nice girl, and she WILL find a nice guy, but only when she starts focusing on all the positives she has rather than the negatives

This makes complete sense. Perhaps her expectation that Ed would be more committed and straightforward because he's different is a bit simplistic, causing her all kinds of problems.
 
Ed slept in HER bed the last two nights,that doesn't strike me as someone who's not keen.Ed doesn't want anything on the outside but now his Jade-hating friends have left the house he is open to having some fun with her in the house. It's not Jade's fault he's been giving mixed signals up until recently.

She practically begs him to come in her bed. He hardly shows any affection.

I agree. .....:mad: And I don´t know why the people is not able to see that. Jade is not the only one who is giving attention to each other. What Ed is doing in her bed if he doesn´t want anything ? . The only thing that I´m pretty sure is someone is playing with her feelings and it seems like he can control the situation. And on the other hand we have Jade, who is in love with Ed and can´t handle the situation in terms of her feelings.

So that's an excuse to go into her bed and still send her the wrong signals even when he doesn't want anything going on between them?
If he doesn't want to lead her on then don't go into her bed - SIMPLE!
He certainly knows what he is doing and I hate him so much for it...

Physical attraction doe not equate to someone wanting a relationship. I'm sure that Ed has often contemplated/fantasized ramming his little fella inside jade's throat. However that does not constitute love which is clearly what jade is pining for. Guys in general can quite easily separate lust from love and there are no signs that Ed sees jade as anything more than an easy lay to scratch an itch on a night on the town.

Then he should stop leading to her on to think that anything serious could happen in the house. These 'signals' are only fuelling the fire and yes I do agree that he sees Jade as nothing than a 'one night stand'.
He's just too much of a pussy to say to her face because we all know he wants to keep her on his side.....

Look, I hate Ed as much as the next guy, but he is sending every signal in the book that he is not into her and that he is using her. She is lost in her infatuation. At the moment he can just mumble random syllables and Jade will choose to interpret them as 'He wants to be with me once we leave the house.' She is lost in the fog of infatuation
 
Well apparently Ed is saying exactly that but jade is hearing something else entirely. It's a case of hearing what you wanna hear and believing it.

She is still holding out hope that Ed somewhere down the track would begin to see her in a romantic light and fall for her.

That's all on her though as Ed has been very explicit in telling her that's not going to happen. Meanwhile Ed will continue enjoying any canoodling and fondling jade offers him.

It's tough to go without a feminine touch for weeks on end, can't blame the guy for taking what's offered to him on a silver platter. :cool:

It still bugs me and I hate the fact that Jade is getting the majority of the slack because of it. But he should seriously stop with the kissing and hugging altogether because it certainly isn't doing him any favours either! If he really was Prince Charming then he shouldn't be doing any of this, we all know he's nothing but a frog now! And if he is using her for these 'reasons' then that's completely disgusting because it just shows his lack of respect and regard for woman. I just seriously wish that the Sugar sisters or Mikkalya would talk to her about it and be honest with her, I think she needs to here it from a friend for it to sink in...
Anyways, I'm hoping the intruders next week can help Jade see the light and maybe she can find love in one of them. I love seeing Jade happy because she has a lovely smile but unfortunately it's usually when she is around Ed :(

I'm also hoping one of those intruders and Jade might start something up :) From what has been posted on the BBAU site, one of them sounds like he's gonna be a hunk haha. It was said like similar to Ed but with hair to rival Tim's? :S I am so curious to find out what he's like.

Also the whole happy Jade thing is why I also liked the idea of her and Tim cause she's always laughing with him, she's so serious with Ed and either has her guard up or is upset over him. And knowing this, Ed still continues to give her mixed signals
 
How do we know that the girls have not spoken to her about it. We only see snippets of conversations and these snippets test our resolve. Without Jade at the moment he would be standing like a shag on a rock. No interest no storyline. all alone. She is his strategy at the moment because he has nothing else. So he is hedging his bets.
 
The way I see it is that Ed has made it clear to Jade that he sees her as a friend with benefits. Jade is so smitten, that she thinks this could be the start of something more beautiful, when really, in a couple of months - Ed will be like "Jade who?"
I feel for her, I do - but they could have both been clearer on their intent here.

I so hope he is!!! Maybe it knock Ed off a few pegs or two because he seems to think he is gods gift to women...
 
The only time I think Ed truly led her on was when he kissed her behind the bars when she was waiting to see if she would get evicted. But after that, haven't seen any signs he likes her in a romantic way..maybe sexual (when he's drunk) but nothing else.
 
So by the reasoning that you can't blame Ed for taking what he can get, why then would people blame Jade for taking what she can get too? She may know in her head that it won't go anywhere but nothing's stopping her enjoying what she can. If it ends up not working out it's only herself she's hurting, she's not screwing anyone over, so it's about time she got a break..

Bed jumping?!? The time he kissed her when he was SOBER after they had the 'chat', kissing in the rain when he was SOBER. And all those small and minute details or actions that people probably don't notice but she will see as a sign. If he wanted it to stop then he could've ended it ages ago but no, he chooses to lead her on knowing that she will follow him like a puppy :(
