Disaster with my accounting software and a need to recreate all of the accounting for 2013 has left me little time to read this thread and no time to post in the last 2 weeks. It's been killing me, because I find it so hard to keep my mouth sh ut!
With the discussion of Tim's prank followed by Jade getting no response from Ed on SM, I've been thinking that, despite the differences in the relationships, neither guy is very healthy for Jade because she will always give more to them than she will get back. That's not to say that either guy is a horrible person or not a good friend, but it goes back to what I said about Jade always leading with her heart. She will forgive and move past any mistreatment as long as she feels a connection to you. Tim has taken advantage of that multiple times, both in the house and outside. Ed pretty much did the same, in my opinion. I don't think in either case it was a conscious thing on their parts, it's just what happens when their personalities (cheeky and self-centered for Tim, emotionally distant and self-centered for Ed) come up against Jade's more emotionally generous nature. If I could have made two recommendations to her, it would be that she keep her distance from both of them. Since she seems to be doing that with Ed, I can only hope she does something similar with Tim to make sure he doesn't get another opportunity to hurt her again!
I'm eager to see any pics or information that comes from Jade's Adelaide trip and I hope her Melbourne sojourn is a positive one. As I've always said, I just want her to be happy and successful in her pursuits.
