Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

So, clarifying the timeline -

Ed and Jade went out To Motel with Ed's friends after their movie (would assume this was a late night, supported by the time that people posted they saw Ed and Jade at the movies - around 11pm - and the fact that Nick's deleted photo referred to a big night as well as where's ed).

After the late night Ed and Jade were up and about early enough to break up, Ed to offload Jade to the airport either by dropping her there or sticking her in a cab (she was served in Woolworths near Liverpool in the afternoon, so must have been a morning/lunch flight), and Ed to then get back to the lads and update them about the breakup (and for Nick to delete the #bignight #wheresed photo - which from memory was around 11 or 12ish).

Filling them out. I'm currently on a 12 month maternity leave contract that ends next month. I thought it was a good idea at the time to accept that position until I realised that jobs in my field are almost impossible to come by at the moment and there are barely any to apply for starting at the completion of my contract. It's a tad stressful.

I am absolutely certain that Jade and Ed are not a couple so the only reason I would want a public confirmation of that is just to stop all of the idiots who won't just let it die.

I am far more worried about Jade's emotional well being. There is a great difficulty in remaining friends with a person you had strong feelings for, for many reasons. I would think that given the nature of her relationship with Ed, the fact that it was always this nebulous friendship-with-the-possibility-of-more-at-some-future-time-but-let's-just-wait-and-see, Jade may have been left in a place of uncertainty with respect to what their friendship entails going forward. This is especially true if there was no big cause to ending the potential of their relationship, such as it was, just a decision that they weren't right for each other. Given their physical separation, I think it has probably been easy for Jade to just carry on as before, but if she is actually heading to Melbourne, what are the parameters of their friendship? Is she going to stay with him and his roommates? do they have plans to go to tennis together? Will they just casually see each other if there is an informal gathering of BB HMs? how does she introduce him to the hot chef who may be in her vicinity?

Okay, yes that last part is my projection and wishful thinking, but aside from that, I think there's at least a small possibility that the potential of actually seeing Ed may bring up some issues for Jade, even if she's aware that a relationship wouldn't work and she may be reaching for support and to try to normalize things as much as possible.

Or Mikkayla and Nathan were just both struck with Jade-itis. It happens...we should know.

Motel is a club in Melbourne that they went to (not a motel room, And it is something that happened at or from this clubbing event that I think led to the decision to part). But yeah - the vibe I'm getting is that Jade is reacting to Ed's (and Nick's) social media the same way she does to many other friends - but Ed has just wiped her. This would be very confusing...how does he define friends in comparison to her?

I have absolutely no idea what is going on but given Jade's social media activity towards the other HMs this seems highly likely. I do think they've certainly broken up, (there were way too many signs to think otherwise), but I would not have a clue what the current status of their relationship is. For all we know next time she's in Melbourne we might get an indication that the split is off or it wasn't that definitive to begin with. Hell, I hope not, but it's possible I suppose.

Thanks I'm not too stressed because I do have a photojournalism job lined up if I can't get one in my field. However I haven't done any professional work in photography or the media since I was in uni and it's a fair step away from where I want to go professionally given it's a completely different field to my current job. Hey, beats the unemployment line though right?

I just love how Nathan and Rohan are so supportive and so sweet to Jade.In fact Rohan favorited my tweet(asking Jade when will she be at the Autralian Open because it'll be great to see her there).

I don't see Ed making a stance against some those trolls(some of them his fans) or even give some kind words of assurance as a friend to Jade on social media.

You know through all my years of watching BB, Jade's probably the first HM where after the show I haven't regretted spending any of the money I did to save her. She's just as lovely and sweet out of the house as she was in it. Very genuine person who deserves whatever comes her way.

I'm just applying for the few positions available and hoping more open when employers start to come back to work after the holidays
