Exactly. Even if something is gong on with Chef Hottie (and there very well could be given the amount of time they're spending together and the flirty Instagram comments), it's not like Jade's going to say so given she obviously doesn't feel like sharing that things have most likely ended with her and Ed. I'm just happy that she's out meeting new people and having fun instead of sitting around crying over a bloke who has proven time and time again that he's not worth the attention she gave him.

I'm wondering what this means for her trip to Melb for the Aus Open? I imagine that trip was planned so they could go together (I've never heard Jade mention she's a tennis fan), so if they have broken up (and that's looking pretty damn obvious now), what does that mean for that trip? Will they still go together? Will they try and play it up to give the illusion that they might still be together? Or will they finally let it go and move on? I'd love to see that so they don't have to consistently keep trying to hide their lives or who they're spending time with. I guess we'll see in the new year.

P.s. thanks so much for checking again [MENTION=36315]aurora[/MENTION]. I guess when they said it was coming out in January they really meant it was coming out in January lol.

I would think that even if they are broken up they are still friends, so maybe they will go together.

This is so petty of me, but I get a kick out of imagining Ed deciding he's all in and Jade realizing she deserves better, especially if Chef Hottie was already being more of a Prince Charming than Ed had ever been. Now that would be a bloody good story!

It would, and to be honest for all we know you could be on the money. I really am starting to get the impression that she was the one that called things off and not the other way around.

Took her long enough to get the 'message'. That's what Ed's been hoping for the minute Jade went Fatal Attraction on him inside the BB house, for her to finally break it off and avoid being seen as the bad guy. lol


Ed is a harmless 'bro' kinda bloke but unfortunately he does come across as a bit gutless and overly concerned about people's opinion/perception of him.

Which sort of backed him into a corner with Jade as he had no idea how to ditch her without looking like a douche and possibly harming the tv career prospects he was hoping for post BB.

Finally both parties can move on and quit keeping up the ridiculous charade, hardly anybody cares by now anyway.
 
Ed supposedly said at a nightclub in Adelaide just days before Jade's second Melbourne visit, that he was single. Was he just going through the motions in Melbourne perhaps? Maybe he was even trying to show her how incompatible their lifestyles are, e.g. Motel. He certainly didn't seem to make much effort.

A message is easy to get if it's actually given - they were out of the house- how difficult is it to have a conversation ? But no, instead he's happy to go along safe in the knowledge she likes him, ramping up his actions as soon as she gets attention from someone else. More likely Jade has realised that his lifestyle just isn't what she's after & they'll be friends.

As for Fatal Attraction- have you even watched the movie? Because nothing Jade did was anything like what happened in it. And nothing she's done since she's been out has been remotely like it either.

But why let fact get in the way of your story now, never has before.

It is an interesting point. Granted, this was a random post on social media, so who knows the validity but maybe it took Jade nearly a week to finally realize that the affectionate guy who took her to visit his mom in Noosa wasn't going to be making an appearance in Melbourne. For that matter, maybe the friends visiting from Adelaide let slip some of his out of state escapades and that was too much for Jade.

I keep coming back to the assumption that she was the one to finally end things because she wasn't as heartbroken as one might have thought and appears to be making new friends and carrying on with life just fine, but maybe he DID end it and she was sad for a day and then realized it was for the best. Whatever happened, I'm glad she seems to be moving on and I hope she doesn't look back when/if she's in Melbourne for the Open.

Especially as his boss said on a radio interview about the AFL draft, that Ed going was a last minute thing and Ed's suggestion. Jade was already working up there and had made public what her plans where. Ed then instigates the draft inclusion to get up there and then do the Noosa thing, which wasn't what Jade had planned. Why do that - it certainly would make her think that he was keen. In fact I think he probably was - until he was again back in his Melbourne environment.

I've also been wondering this, as they were spotted by several people on the Saturday night at the movies and things still seemed fine. Then they met up with the friends. A couple of weeks ago I brought up the single at the nightclub thing - but most people thought it was just him going with the 'we're just friends and seeing how it goes' thing. That was the very messy night in Adelaide when he posted a couple of trashy things, that he then deleted the next day - so i wouldn't rule out something occurring which the Adelaide friends then let slip later on Saturday night/early Sunday morning, especially as Nick's deleted photo referred to it being a big night - alchool loosens lips and secrets can inadvertently slip out.
 
I know I asked this on Christmas Day, after they posted on Ed's pics about Jade and Dan after we were speculating on Christmas Eve - but is worthashotortwo a poster here?

After yesterday's 'is it Dan on the beach or not' discussions worthashotortwo has posted another message on an Ed pic, which makes me think they must at least be a lurker if not a poster.

I'm not on a hunt - just intrigued

Interesting! I don't know if they are on here or not and it was rude of them to say all of that as a comment on Ed's picture but I have to say that if Ed let
Jade go then its definitely his loss. That person has pictures of a cat - doesn't give much away! Be interesting if they did post here.
 
Jade has been quiet on the social media for the last nearly 24 hours - I wish she give update on her twitter account - Come on Jade!!!!

As I said before, not me and not anyone I know of on this forum. However, as much as I don't favor such venomous attacks on social media, I find this poster's narrative theme and structure to be right on point and far above the usual inane posts of this type. I feel like he or she would not be particularly out of place on this thread.
 
Not me. Unfortunately since I use my personal Instagram account for all that stuff I don't comment on the HMs stuff in fear of my family and friends knowing I've lost the plot when it comes to my BB obsession. A quick "like" here and there is my limit.

Even I don't think you peeps would stoop THAT low. There are idiots out there. Ed is probably p...ssinf himself laughing.
