It'd be a big deal if she did, Home and Away is a stepping stone to Hollywood. Also no disrespect but it'd also help her acting skills to start out on a soap.

Is it just me - or does nearly every photo that Ed post involve either his brother or alcohol, or both? The theme/content is the same - just the setting changes

And, again, the comparison is telling. One is spending Christmas Eve in a bar, the other is visiting sick kids. Can their priorities be any more different?

I've noticed the same thing - Pubs, beers, mates and his bro. He confirmed again today that he'll be in Melbourne for NYE.

Different section so I probably wouldn't have seen her anyway. It's so lovely what she's doing with Starlight.

No it's not just you, they really do seemed entwined in each other lives so much so I was wondering whether he had separation anxiety while he was on bb...well...at least the alcohol helps.
Kudos to Jade and anyone that takes the time on Christmas Eve to help out the Starlight Foudation. It must be incredibly rewarding but at the same time very hard emotionally.
The more I see of Jade the more I love her. She is very special.

Agreed - totally different priorities and places in life.
I think Ed and Nick inhibit each other from maturing emotionally, neither one is ready to be in a relationship which will involve more commitment than the one they have with each other. Not at this point anyway. Doesn't make Ed a bad person , just not ready yet.
Jade meanwhile shows me everyday the qualities l love about her. Whoever ends up with her will be extremely lucky.

Ed having a long distance relationship should actually suit Ed and Nick quite well.

Unfortunately, I think this is the norm for them.
I have known so many sets of identical twins (including my best friends through primary school) and now have 2 friends with sets of identical twins who I have watched grow from babies to adults/almost adults. These 2 are not the normal set of identical twins that I have been involved with (although they may well be the basis for some creepy movie).
[MENTION=36695]Jane Doe[/MENTION] mentioned a while ago that she has worked with twins with identity issues, and she may well be able to give a more professional view on their dependence (my qualification is in Behavioural Studies with a Pysch major - this interests me but I have no training with this stuff)

It's almost beyond commitment - it's like they are each other. Nearly 27 year old men sharing clothes and watches (noticed Ed was wearing Nick's watch in the Melb photos the first time Jade was there and Nick was away). I can get Ed having his brother's shorts in the house (I guess) but he also was wearing Nick's AFL club speedos (eewww).
As well as inhibiting their emotional developments, I think Nick (as the leader - both of them have stated this) also inhibits Ed's personality. When Nick is not around (in the house, on the GC, Ballina and Noosa) Ed acts so differently. Obviously this is also due to being in his home environment when he is with Nick - but Nick seems to stifle aspects of Ed that are good

Me too. It seems that Jade won't be seeing him on New Year's unless she goes to Melbourne again.
