Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I know you all reallyyy hope the whole saga is done. But somehow i really dont think so.

Same. I mean I personally think now more than ever that there's no way any sort of proper relationship (i.e. if/when they live close) will last long-term. It's become more obvious than ever that their lives/personalities just don't mesh IMO. However I don't think the saga is over either by any stretch. I'm expecting a lot more signs that either make us think it's either on or off to eventuate in the future.

Just saw Jade reply to someone on twitter to say she'll be in Melbourne to go to the Australian Open in January.

Yep, I'm pretty sure that's what spurred the pages of sport discussion lol. Wonder if she's going just to spend time with Ed or if she's a tennis fan.

Also - has anyone else noticed that the "likes" on Jade's Facebook page have increased by like 6000 in a couple of days? That's quite odd considering the number remained very stable for so long and now it's shot up so suddenly and drastically.

In other news - 6000 mental patients have been released from asylums in time for Xmas.

Can I just say that I totally get that Ed is just not ready to be anyone's committed b/f right now and that it's true Jade bought into his talking about wanting family / kids line.
l actually understand this from a much closer perspective than some - I was engaged to my husband when I was Jade's age. My husband is 8 years older than me and before me he had never had a serious girlfriend either - he was all about partying and spending time with his mates etc.
So I kind of think that Jade and Ed share similar ultimate goals about where they want to be in life, and character traits that they value and admire in each other.
I just think that the timing is off more than anything else.
I don't agree with what is being said in the other thread about how they think Jade was just a hook-up for Ed - that's really demeaning to say that tbh. AS If she's just some quickie. Based on what we actually see, I do think Ed cares about her at the very least a close friend, and respects her - to say he thinks of it as some hookup is gross . Just my opinion.

Doesn't mean I think Jade and Ed are suited, particularly at this point in time. l care about Jade's feelings and my interest is in her and what's happening in her life rather than this relationship. I have to admit though seeing him relaxing and showing his personality more makes me like him more than I did when he was in BB.

I think it won't be over until Jade ends it, just like it won't be on until Ed says he's all in. In a way they each hold the reins and the relationship horse is just waiting for one one of them to give a definitive command.

I wanted them to be over after the first Melbourne trip but no one listened to me. ;)
We know Jade is not one to give up easily, so this could be a 6 month drawn out spectacle.

Hey, were you the one asking where Jade got that dog toy from? - she's replied on Facebook it's from Big W

Hey thanks delcan. I went to Target yesterday they didn't have it ended up buying something else but I'm about to go out I will go check it out now.

UPDATE: Could find it/didn't have it at the one that I went to. Oh well. :(

She did say in the house that when she's decided that she's fallen in love with someone nothing will change that and she'll stay loyal to them even when things turn sour. She said she was still very much in love with her ex when everything turned bad there and it only ended because he was the one that put a stop to it.

So yeah, I can't really see Jade letting go, just as I can't see Ed going all in...so I certainly think this is going to keep being drawn out for a very long time.

This is why Dan Churchill needs to distract her with his healthy lifestyle cooking lol

The relationship with the ex may not be a good comparison, as that had been a mutually committed live-in relationship of a couple of years duration, which is nothing like the Jade/Ed one (not to say that it may not be just as hard for her to let go of feelings - but very different situations)
