Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I can see why Jade fans would think that'd be the best option. But Tahan fans wouldn't and they'd be able to see through the BS right away if she suddenly started to censor her true feelings as that's one of the main things they love about her. None of the housemates are obsessing about Jade/Ed or Tully/Drew 24/7... only their most ardent fans are. Tahan's close to some of the same people Ed is especially Boog and Heidi. Some in here might not like her delivery but I don't think she's completely talking out of her ass either. She basically said what 99% of this forum did both before and after BB. I'm sure her and every other HM would rather talk about their own stuff than answer a 3 second question about a showmance regardless of which couple it's about.

I don't agree with you about her preferring to talk about anything else. Tahan demonstrated over and over that she LOVES to talk shit about people. And she really loves to talk shit about people when it's going to get her attention. She's certainly been the only one to continue with disparaging remarks outside of the house. So the idea that Tahan only responded because she was asked is bullshit. It's also counter to the idea that her fans would be disappointed if she didn't do it, if she was PC about the whole thing. She loves answering in an insulting fashion because it's her nature AND because she gets applause for doing so. Everything else is just making excuses for her piss poor behavior.

The girls was a bitch who thought all along that she could easily beat Jade or any of the other females and is torn that proved to not be true. She will take every opportunity now, no matter how ridiculous and contradictory she sounds, to rip on Jade, because it makes her feel better about herself.

That may be your opinion of Ed's behavior (and I'm not willing to bet against it completely, though I think he is way less calculating than you presume) but how is Jade, in any way, at fault for this like Tahan accuses? That's the issue as it pertains to the current discussion. Tahan said that Jade made Ed look like a bad person and now Ed is being forced to pretend he likes her. The dirt was thrown by Tahan at Jade, not at Ed, which is why it's the subject of this thread. Tahan said Jade is responsible, and your excuse is that Ed is a weak man, controlled by his image, which, again, may be true, but that's NOT what Tahan is saying. Tahan is throwing the stones directly at Jade when there's nothing that Jade has done to warrant such an action. Coupled with Tahan's own nastiness on twitter, the evidence suggests that the woman is a petty bitch, much like Ed's deleting of the tweets suggests he is a shallow man concerned only with his image.

Oh dear...Harsh words from Tahan here. It's hard to know if she's harbouring I'll-feeling towards Jade because she didn't 'beat' her or if she had a touch of the 'no-filter' syndrome. Either way, it certainly shows her up to be holding some kind of grudge. It actually has Ed coming off worse for being a weakling - IF, what she's saying is even remotely close to the truth.
 
Tahan just shut the fuck up about Jade! I really can't stand that bitch. She is actually worse outside of the house.
Her so called honesty is just a cover for her nastiness. She make me sick.

I can see why Jade fans would think that'd be the best option. It is quite the contrast to Jade's interview's outside the house. She has never said a bad word about ANYONE in the house in any interviews. Tahan is so honest that she has no problem talking crap about anyone she did not like. Contrast that with Jade...purely a Class Act in comparison. But I'm sure Tahan cares nothing about classy behavior...she is too honest.. ;)

If Ed is doing as Tahan has said - and maybe he is, I don't know - then there is no way she an describe him as a nice guy

I think out of all of this, both Jade and Ed can hold their heads high knowing they haven't continued the BB game beyond the day it finished. Neither of them have spoken publicly, in a negative way, about any other HM (that i have seen). They are decent people with enough sense and maturity to know when to shut up! I'm almost certain they would also have been asked their opinions on the others but obviously nothing they've said is newsworthy.

It looks like Tahan has lawyered-up regarding Leesa Little's blogs. Might be an idea for Tahan to watch what she says herself in terms of defaming others.

It has nothing to do with honesty. If she was HONEST she would say she didn't know what was going on with them (as I'm sure they haven't confided in her). If she was HONEST she'd admit that she was still butthurt about Jade getting more votes than her at finale. If she was HONEST she wouldn't reinvent history inside the house to make herself out to be an innocent little lamb victimised by mean girls. She's being immature and spiteful and needs to concentrate on her own life, like Jade is doing.

Tahan can dish it out but can't take it, as it was the case in the house.
I actually find her behaviour cowardly, she only really went after those who she saw as "weak" and in the case of the sisters and Jade were non-confrontational.
She reminds me of this woman I had a run in with yesterday at the market. I was just walking straight while this young woman was standing just few metres in front of me, so I was just going to walk just behind her. Then all of the sudden she turned and started walking towards me, so we accidently bump into each other. No big deal and I was about to say sorry just because it is what decent people say and I saw it just an accident. Before I could say sorry she said to me to "just calm down", in a tone that really annoyed me. So instead of saying the customary sorry, I turned around and said "you calm down BITCH!". And my husband that was walking behind me (who is the most non-confrontational person I know) also said "you calm down" to her. Being short and small, I guess she saw me as someone she could just run over. When she realised that I wasn't someone that will just keel over she sure walked off rather quickly. lol
 
I suspect that a lot of Tahan's scepticism about the relationship dates back to when Ed told her that you make do with what you have in here. That was early on and I doubt that Ed has discussed the relationship with Tahan since. Ed was definitely attracted to Jade from the beginning but seemed apprehensive about having relationship in the house and so pretended that he wasn't interested, much to the detriment of Jade's reputation. In the end I don't believe he gave into Jade but instead gave into his feelings. Whether those feelings are enough to sustain a long-term relationship, time will tell.

I think it's time for Tahan to adhere to the old adage that if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it at all, especially if she wants a career in the media.
 
Ugh, this is a little sad isn't it.

I have to say that whole little clique of Drully, Tahan , Tim, Jaz have been irritating since they left the house. They are always sniping about someone, I'm glad Jade does not hang with that crew.
 
Incredibly quiet today.

Where's Jade and what is she up to today?

No movement anywhere from Ed since the wee small hours of Sunday morning.., other than deleting a couple of his drunken posts. Maybe he lost his phone. Maybe his sister confiscated it so he can't post drunken rubbish and attract SM comments on his drunkenness.Maybe he has given up on telling us all what he is up to (unless it involves Jade, I really don't mind).

But we won the second test! :)

I imagine that Jade will remain friendly towards Tim, but not so much the others. That crew DOES seem to do the most socializing with each other, with the occasional addition of Boog and Ed.

It's interesting that the ones who were the narrators in the BB house this year are the ones who continue to narrate their lives on social media. Jade was never a fan of that, staying away from the DR most of the time, so I guess we should have been able to predict how active she would be on social media outside of the house. (It's also interesting that Ed seems just as incompetent at doing it outside as he was inside the house...lol)
