I´m not gonna lie, I found a little bit creepy the way that Jade´s shippers ( because honestly , I think Ed doesn't have any
=) are obsessive with both of them ( her mentions on twitter are crazy). I couldn't watch the video either, so many awkward moments for Jade ( but seems like she enjoyed it anyway). When I saw her tweet thanking the girl for the video, I felt sorry for her, just because I can see how hopeful she is about the relationship and how listless he is in terms of everything ( including their relationship).About her new hair look, I´ve already said that I really like the color, so much natural in my opinion, but I´m not sure about the extensions ( I have to wait to see her tomorrow when she wash her hair and let it dry) But I would like to see her with a new clothes (nice ones, the skirt was horrible), would be good if she had some help with that.

The hair colour in them seems to be more like what she got yesterday so I think the new colour is going to be fine on her
You and me both. So far Jade has replied thanking that user for the video, retweeted it, and retweeted another comment complimenting it. On the other hand Ed hasn't even acknowledged it despite the person who made it practically now begging him to respond (*cringe*). Now it still possible that he still hasn't seen it (unlikely I know) or that he's just giving it time before he responds to think up the most neutral thing to say, however the longer he leaves it go without commenting himself, the more it sets Jade up for ridicule. Even if it made him feel incredible uncomfortable (who wouldn't watching that?!), I thought he'd at least give the video maker a quick thanks for the time/effort it would have taken (especially when she's begging for him to comment on it).

I think she might also have put it on his facebook, asking people to watch it (i saw a comment in that little side panel thing from her with it attached last night, but cant access FB at work to see if it is still there).
Would be understandable if Ed has done a runner

Not only has she posted it to his FB page, but that Greg Miller dude also shared the link and in the comments said he was going to forward it to one of his executive mates at Channel 9.

That's so bad - I actually feel so sorry for Ed.
I also feel sorry for Jade, because I think this is going to affect her badly

I'm actually feeling so much second-hand embarrassment for both of them. I think Jade would have liked the video because it left out all of the bad stuff Ed did and said behind her back and if she's been copping slack for the relationship since she's been out then I imagine she'd be happy seeing a video like that because in a way it justifies her feelings and relationship with Ed. Similar to how that video a fan made for Tahan was edited to justify her behaviour and put down the other girls.
On the other hand Ed was just bombarded with images of a relationship that he fought against for so long.
Who in their right mind would think he'd actually want to watch that?
I have no idea who that Greg Miller guy is. He talks a big game but his obsession with Jaded seems inconsistent with the type of person he tries to paint himself as.

I hate talking about fans or their behavior because I don't like to judge anonymous people on the internet. As a Lea Michele fan of long standing, I can't tell you the number of "shipper wars" I've endured, as anyone she is friends with, guy or girl, is shipped. Most of the time, I just shake my head and stay out of it because I think people have good intentions and just want to believe in love, romance, and the "happy ending".
Having said that, like most people here, I found the video off-putting in many ways. It brought back some of the cringiest Jade moments that I could hardly tolerate the first time around. Whoever did it clearly put in a great deal of effort (I've made videos, they are not easy, and that used a TON of clips) and had good intentions, but there were so many points where I would have edited more or put in different clips that I just couldn't watch it straight through. Most of the time all I could think was, "Poor Jade". And she is so sweet to thank the poster, which, unfortunately, also makes me cringe. I just feel bad, for Jade mainly, but even for Ed, that so many people are so invested in their relationship. It's a very difficult thing and places a great deal of pressure, something that Jade certainly doesn't need right now. But Jade seems to be upping the pressure on Ed as well, possibly because she's tired of having to answer these same questions, or maybe because she's just tired of him dragging his feet. We'll never know, and at this point, all we can do is wait and hope that whatever happens, she comes out of it stronger and happier than ever.
The thing is, even though WE appear to be tracking their every tweet/favorite/link, the majority of the public are not. The more we make it a big deal, the bigger a deal it becomes. We may be creating humiliation for Jade just by speculating that she's being humiliated. I don't know. I do think it's interesting that when Ed was the one favoriting and liking stuff about them, everyone assumed it was because he was using interest in them to boost his public profile, but now that she seems to be the one doing it, we assume that she's being needy and maybe even desperate. Deep down, none of us can let go of the image we have of their relationship being so unbalanced and that may be skewing our own perception.
Ugh...can't we just go back to happier times, when we were getting gorgeous shots from photo shoots, smiling Jade photos from Dreamworld and the ARIAS, and surprise trips to meet the family? We need something else to fill this void!

Hehehehe...I just saw that Nathan is resting up for the Channel 9 Christmas party tonight. Assuming it's in Melbourne (and Mikkayla appears to be in Melbourne at the moment) we may get some pics tonight of at least some of the HMs.

I think we're well within our rights to speculate that a cringeworthy video like that being paraded around social media (and now being sent to Channel 9 execs) might be uncomfortable/embarrassing for them. I do think that video would have been made with good intentions, but also selfish ones because the intent by showing it to Jade and Ed directly was probably to try and show them how "good" they were together and try to encourage them to become "official". In that sense I see it as fuelling a selfish fan need to see that couple together rather than letting Jade and Ed work out what's best for them. I'm not just talking about this video, but more the group of fans on social media who have become obsessed with telling Jade and Ed what to do (make it official) on social media. Like you said, the pressure they must feel to make it work (even without these fans) would be intense.
