Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Yep, I think the user you interacted with before this post is one of the main contenders. Even members who don't like Jade have questioned it on this thread. I just read the posts of the "usuals" in thread, and those making reasonable comments. I just discard the rest.

I think there's a couple of reasons for that.

For starters I think the lack of info we're getting is starting to make everyone go a little crazy with the speculation. Any little bit we get automatically has people jumping to conclusions simply because we're not getting any other info to balance it out.

Also there appears to be a lot of newbies (like the one you quoted in your previous post) who's posts always tend to jump to conclusions while we'd always preferred to talk the stuff out. Not saying any way is better than the other, but that's just how the thread flowed previously.

It was also a lot easier previously because although we'd disagree on some small aspects, we all seemed to share the same opinions on the bigger issues. However towards the end of the show some people started to become fans of JadEd (and barely of us were previously - at least not that openly), while some of us still aren't fans of Ed or the pairing. Now that they're out and it's become a big speculation topic, I find we're clashing a lot more over our opinions re JadEd and as a result, I know I personally find that I'm trying to recheck everything I post in fear of upsetting someone that's a fan of Ed or JadEd.

Yes I'm a newby. I read the board while BB was on but it was only after it finished that I wanted to chat to people who followed jade and ed to a degree too.

I'm personally not a fan of Jade & Ed from what I saw on Tv, she was portrayed as a stalker and him as a user who didn't give a cramp about her, but I can't say whether I'm a fan of jade and ed now as I don't know them personally or what ed or jade are really like. I hope it works out for them as she seems like a beautiful soul.

For the record I wasn't referring to you, but I just said newbies collectively because there's been so many lately I'm finding it hard to keep up lol.

For myself, I find myself a little frustrated when the speculation heads down paths not supported by any evidence.
l quite like wondering and trying to find out information , it's the whole reaching conclusions based on next to nothing that l personally find difficult.

As a Jade fan watching BB, l felt that a large volume of the hate she got stemmed from the way her and Ed interacted and I find it difficult now that they are out to wish for her to be put in the position of being hurt by either him, his family, or from a cruel and insensitive public.
Which is why, when the speculation in here becomes at times solely 'are they aren't they' I feel like screaming that she doesn't need him holding her back,

If he wants to contribute to her happiness then fine, but the thought of him causing her stress or hurt,or if he stops her from accepting any opportunity when I KNOW he and his brother would not do the same for her, ugh, she's better off without it.

I'm hanging out here to see her appearances, enjoy how she interacts with her fans, and see good things happen to her.
 
I Don't know if they're the same person, but their opinion is exactly the same. Seems like if Ed and Jade are not together it's gonna have a bad impact in their personal lives. Sorry if sounds harsh but is how I perceive it. And that's weird.

If her acting is something she can't get off the ground, a good idea is something someone mentioned earlier - Getaway. I think that gig would be perfect for her. Maybe being her gentle pleasant self will be her calling card. .?

Who knows? There has been some weird newbies lately.
I won't be surprise if he/she/they was/were old trolls that we used to get here when the show was still on.

Most first time posters tend to state why they like a HM, what they like about them and would introduce themselves, etc.. These new ones just comes up with a statement as if they are facts without explanations or discussions. I find it quite interesting, I want to know why they do it. Are they bored or do they just want attention? If they are doing it for attention, he/she would be loving it that we are having this discussion about them at the moment.
