Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

I agree with you. The blokes that Ed with last night are all his footy mates. I have seen pictures of Ed which was taken last night - he look so creepy and ugly. Jade should have dump him when looking at Ed's twitter finding out what a party boy he is. hope we get more news from Jade via twitter today.

Why did Ed retire from footy few years ago - probably he had a lot of injuries.
North Melbourbe Football club delisted him few years ago and no other clubs did not want him. Ed is not a good footballer - I think.

I'm watching episode 14 & based on my observation, Ed does have real feelings for Jade.

The way he looked at Drew & Jade flirting from the other haft way house. How he was worried for Jade when she was the two last standing people for the first eviction. He had come close to the fence & kissed her goodbye & then asked for once more. A sigh of relief when hugging & congratulating her for not being evicted. Asking her to share bed in front of HMs when they thought JadEd gonna do so.

Everything was going well until Heidi questioned him, he admitted that Jade is cool & pretty & they had a pash but the way Heidi reacted may cause him to withdraw his real feelings for Jade because he may not want other female HMs to get jealous & turn against him & may effect to his game plan. He did the same with Tahan when being questioned about Jade. This may also remind him about his family voting campaign & he needs to be single in the house. This is my take.

I don't care about his past, we are not so sure about what the future will bring, but if his feelings for Jade is real. Then, I'm happy for her. I just don't want her to be hurt.

I like the photo of Jade & Ed with a bar of chocolate much more than the photo of Tully sitting in bed wearing a pyjamas posted by Drew. The two photos may send the same hidden message, but I found Drew's photo of Tully is pretty "cheap" & Ed's photo with Jade is "such a classic".

This is my favourite one. I she lights up the room when she smiles.
Unfortunately, there were few weeks in the house that she didn't have much to smile about.

Ok, so I'm over my work-avoidance speculations from yesterday, and am back on the fence with Ed. I just want to know what Jade is up to, what is is the pipeline for her, and don't want her confidence or belief in herself and her ability to follow her dreams to be undermined.

That said - who is jadefan?? And where have they sprung from? While we all (well some of us - mostly me) ran amok with Showdown /live feed blackout-style induced wild speculations yesterday - the definitive declarations being thrown in by jadefan seem very strange (and the "rumour has it that Ed and Jade have broken up" posts over in the showmance thread) have raised several new speculative thoughts in my head.

However, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride today (and possibly do some neglected housework)

I think jade fan is either a mischievous Tahah or Tim fan, a hacker or a troll hoping to stir up trouble. If not, apologies but you can't read things into every Instagram or Twitter feed. Chillax.

To the rest - I am a Canadian fan of the Jade and to some extend now an Ed Fan. I think he is man full of great integrity and class. And for our Lady Jadey- I have never seen such ROYAL aura in anyone since Princess Diana. Something about her makes you admire her, defend and protect her. She is indeed a rare jewel.

This is my 1st time EVER watching BB AUS. And I have to say , there is nothing better. On behalf of silent readers like myself - Please continue with the gossip and keep us updates :)
 
I am really sorry to offend the people in forum - but I am not a troll . I am a big Jade supporter and I like her very much.

I have nothing against Jade but I will keep the the good thread about her.

Thanks for mentioning this episode, because I tend to skip over/through the "live" episodes while rewatching because Sonia drives me crazy and they tend to drag on anyway. I had forgotten how much of the Jade/Ed saga, as it came to be viewed, originated in this episode.

While I think that it was partly a game issue, I just think the very fact that his feelings were questioned sent Ed running. He doesn't do feelings, at least not publicly, and certainly not where he might feel vulnerable. If no one questioned him, I think he would have just let it go on, but as soon as he was questioned, he panicked. Not a good look at all! And then the long rambling explanation to Jade, which said absolutely nothing, and which left her wondering what the hell just happened pretty much set the pattern for their relationship. Step forward...he freaks out...she pretends to understand what he's saying...pause...step forward...he freaks out...and repeat....

I really just want her happiness. I'm not sure it's with Ed (about 90% of the time I'm sure it's not) but as long as she's good, I don't really care. But even if it fails (or has failed), I'm pretty sure it will be done privately and she will be spared public humiliation or disrespect. Ed's family may be borderline assholes, but I have no doubt that he will make sure she is not treated poorly, no matter what happens.
