Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

This article is so not right it's not what we have seen through the photos! The way they word things and make it sound different to what it is annoys the crap out of me!

They are clutching at straws. Will be interesting to read the article in NW Magazine and read the interpretation of the interview. I hope they gave them double speak. Ed is media trained and I am sure he would have had a chat to Jade about the upcoming interviews and how to handle them. The prying questions of the media would be annoying especially when they have not had much sleep and the tiring schedule being dealt with. Drew and Tully have laid themselves bare for continual constant scrutiny. Jade and Ed will be speculation.

She needs to get over it. With comments like this one she´s showing that she feels superior to others . Pathetic as a person. Jade would never said or think something like that. That´s the difference

The problem is, if Jade and Ed don't control the narrative, someone else will, just as what happened to them in the house. It's in their best interests to appear to be open about their relationship (if it exists) rather than playing coy and avoiding discussing it publicly. In a void of information, people will rush to fill in that void and Jade will have very little control over what is said.

As for Tim's version of the truth....man, I have a lot to say, but I really try to avoid talking about him in this thread or on this board. It just brings trouble. I will say that it's not surprising that so much of Tim's media time is spent talking about the other HMs and his plans with other HMs. He's continuing to try to control them and the narrative as much as he did in the house.

Yep. Once again though Ed's lack of guts to stand up and give any real information about what's happening and where they're going is allowing Tim to control the narrative of what's going on, exactly like it was in the house. I have a feeling from what I've seen that Jade would be more than happy to shout that they're together, but she's not because she knows Ed wouldn't go for that. It's all well and good to keep dancing around the question. I'm sure he really doesn't know what will happen, but I'm also positive he'd definetly have an idea one way or the other. If they are together and are going to try it out, then he needs to say it. It's useless coming from Jade because once again people would still think it was all her and he wanted nothing. However by not saying anything conclusive the writers are going to go to someone that they know will talk (Tim) which allows him to paint the relationship in whatever way he sees fit. Tim needs to butt out, but Ed is the one who's giving him the control to paint the relationship as whatever he wants.

Ed doesn't seem to realise that Tim can only control how Ed is perceived for as long as he lets him. If Ed were to have the guts to come out and control his own narrative then it takes away Tim's ability to do it for him. It was the same in the house, and looks to have continued on the outside.

Haha.

I don't think it's hugely personal I just think Tahan hates losing and can't get over it.
Unfortunately the tweet shows more about her character than Jade's.

Yep, this scene is replaying in my mind right now from the halloween special: I'm gonna beat those girls!! I'm gonna beat em!!! Haha. She came close to beating Jade but in the end Jade got runner-up.

I'm not gonna lie, Ed's family scare the shit out of me. These are the same people that posted a blog that ripped into Jade repeatedly. I wonder if their views will change in regards to Jade now that they know she's more popular than Ed.

I noticed Nikki re-tweeted Ed's good looker pic about Jade. Is that approval?
 
I have been so close to being able to see Jade at appearances this week! I could've gone to Campbelltown to see them but had to hand in a uni assignment, my friend and I were going to fly up to dreamworld this weekend to see her, but I have a close family friend's 21st birthday to go to!

You guyssssss, this sucks!

I don't think Jade is a walk over as a lot of people think. She has a quiet inner strength that was shown on occasion, Unfortunately the BB narrative tried to strip her of this.

She's so strong <3 I know this sounds weird, but in order to be vulnerable you have to have strength too. People who aren't as strong will just put up walls.

I can't believe I am about to do this....deep breath...ok...

in defence of Ed's family..

The initial edit of Jade pursuing Ed lead everyone - INCLUDING Ed's family - to believe that Jade was practically stalking Ed and forcing herself upon him. If Ed were my son/brother at that stage I too would have ripped into Jade. The Lower family were only commenting on what we had seen, and poison that some past housemates were spreading at that stage. They were not in direct touch with Ed and could not clarify his relationship/interest/feelings etc. They were trying to 'protect' Ed from fallout. I can understand it.

Now is the time for the Lower family to go in to bat for Ed and Jade if they are a couple. OR even if they are not, if Ed is supporting Jade then they need to understand why and do so to.

Agree. According to Nick's article his Dad is a fan of Jades', that his brother is smitten and Nick can't wait to meet her.

Would explain why he was soooo awkward.

Here's a thought...wonder if Ed was awkward with it all because he was overwhelmed by Jade/the relationship forming under unusual circumstances/getting used himself because he can't read gewls very well (overawed by Jade the package as well - the personality/looks etc) and wasn't sure if HE was going to get hurt on the outside and didn't really articulate this very well.
