Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

There is a clip on the OS but it doesn't show the part that they showed the other night where he asks her first. I think the clip on the OS is her saying so i'll sleep here and then he agrees. Very convenient for their one-sided storyline. I noticed another slight discrepancy. Last night they showed the clip of her saying love you but with the subtitle "I love you' whereas on the OS the subtitle just says "love you". I guess they promoted her saying ILU so hard that they changed the subtitle to fit.

Particularly the part about Ed being unable to be emotionally responsive and Jade pushing him to get it. I know that's not Ed's fault, but it hasn't been good for Jade because her always being the "emotionally open" one gives the impression that she's in love where he's disinterested. I don't think it's simply a case of Ed not caring at all, but more an inability to express himself point blank. Does that make him a bad person? No. But does that mean that I think he's good for Jade? Absolutely not. She's such an affectionate person with such a big heart, she needs someone that has the ability to love her in the same way. It seems from today's twitter/instagram updates that they're still being like a couple, but I really don't think it will last beyond their BB commitments to be honest.

Totally agree with you that I don't think it will last beyond their BB commitments sadly for Jade.

Tim adores her, the way he was looking at her when they were both waiting for the announcement.
People can say what they like about Jade but a lot of the housemates had nothing bad to say about her, Heidi and Jaz are quite obviously jealous of the attention Jade received.
I don't actually believe Tully has it in for Jade, if Jade turned around and said 'Tully I'm secretly in love with you' she'd be as besotted as the boys.

Jade can do so much better than Ed - seriously.
The quicker she gets away from him the better - he will just drag her down.
I think in the house he thought he was the popular one and Jade not so much, when he was evicted he realised the situation was reversed, and now all of a sudden he has feelings for her and now he is sucking all the attention off her.
Hopefully he will go back to Melbourne and she will be kept busy for a while.
Oh, and I agree, Jade and Drew have much better chemistry than Drully or Jaded combined.

Him saying 'we'll sleep in here, I'll share this one with ya' was shown on the daily show, but Ed's rejecting speech of her later seemed to cancel that out for most people, for some reason.

I agree with you totally. But I think that ship long ago sailed with her and Drew. Ed can learn a lot from someone like Jade so it will be interesting to see how it goes.
