Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Yeah I can't even bring myself to go to those other pages, it's not even so much anymore the person posting the ridiculous stuff it's the people jumping on and agreeing. People are way too suggestible I think.

If I started a thread and said that Jade farted out blue and yellow bearded butterflies every night that came and ate the ear wax out of people's ears they'd probably believe me..

Yesterday, while most of Australia was sleeping, I was overcome with the urge to start random posts analyzing every statement from Tim and Tahan. I had so much material, I was ready to go, and then I thought, "Why am I wasting energy on this?" and I came back to this thread where I find joy rather than nastiness.

I don't know if any of you watch the show and post at the same time, but if anyone does, could you please give updates in this thread as to Jade's status? I don't want to go near the DS thread and if I wake up in the middle of the night (which I've been doing lately), I won't be able to get back to sleep until I know if she's safe or not.

On a sad note...I feel so bad that Jade has no one to do the "eviction day mani-pedi" with. I know she's tough, but, man, the next 7 days will be so hard to watch if she continues to be so isolated. I really hope that Tim becomes the support for her that everyone thinks he will be.

My time zone is an hour behind when the eviction so starts. Lately I've been waiting to watch the show first before looking at all the posts because they often have very little to do with what I'm actually seeing lol.
I'll probably sneak on and filter through though just to see if she's okay because I can tell I'm not going to be able to wait - so if nobody else has posted on this thread I'll try to keep you up to date!

If Ed goes tonight I feel that Tim will be there for her.

Thanks so much! I am really going to try to sleep through it because I have an early and busy day of work tomorrow. Usually, though, I wake up about half way through the show and I'm convinced she's gone, and then I keep checking until I know she's safe.

My only concern, really, is that Jade won't let Tim be there for her. I feel like she'll just shut down, like she did when they nominated her. Her body language and her demeanor just pulled inward and I could literally see the barriers going up and the only time I've seen her really let them down since is when she and Drew were in Santa's Workshop. After being disappointed by Tahan only being nice because of the challenge, and Tim's tendency to make everything about him, I don't know how open she'll be to receiving comfort from any of them. And, let's face it, Ed's mumbling, incoherent good-bye video is not going to help matters because it'll either be a big disappointment (Hi Jade, thanks for everything. See Ya!) or so unintelligible that she'll be even more confused.
 
I am an hour behind also so dont come on until its done. I know Tim will because he knows the others are a big threat to his game so he has been trying to send his followers a message of GET RID OF DREW AND ED lol

I think she will let him. There is not long left in the game, I think she will be ok. :) I just hope she stays. <3
 
If she does go, I hope more than anything they do a terrific and happy eviction for her. She's not as tough as Mikkayla or Maddie I don't think and it would really affect her if she got that sort of negative thing.. I'm worried about that.

Spoke too soon-a new video of her playing with Mr Clooney. Well at least Jade will have Mr Clooney if Ed leaves. BTW Ed's supporters are having an Ed hour yet again, seems he is getting support from AFL players too. Hope Jade's twitter fans are ramping up support for her.
 
I have done all my facebook voting early, just in case it goes down, so all we can do is cross our fingers and hope she makes it through. I admit I am scared this time, but if she did go, at least we can be proud we did all we could. It was never going to be easy to fight the money machine and BB bias, and it the worse happens I hope she will get a decent percentage so she knows she was supported.

It's not over yet so I am putting my positive vibes out and just hoping for the best :D
 
I hope Jade stays, I think the will be the tightest eviction yet, and if Jade does stay it will be by the skin of her teeth.

Although did anyone else notice the scene in last nights show where Jade was talking about how there were 2 nights till someone is gone and how they had been in for 94 days and she would love to make the last week and Drew replied she had nothing to worry about? When I saw that I immediately thought they are setting it up for her to leave!

I think if Ed leaves tonight, that might be Jade's biggest chance to win. Firstly she will get some of Ed's votes, but also if the other housemates alienate and continue bitching about her, she will be the underdog and pick up votes.

Going now to do my final 20 vote block... I hope its enough. <3 I have done my best and over doubled my last week record of votes ever lol. And last week I spent more on Jade then ever before on everyone else put together on BB ever so I cant do much more then that lol

God this girl is sending me broke. I cant help it though, I want my kids (and all the kids in AU) to see that the good girls can win just by being themselves. <3

I agree, if Ed is going, it will be Jade and Ed left on the eviction bench. I'm not even going to consider Jade going.
