Jade is really struggling right now and I think her problems are threefold.
First, she was completely blindsided by Drew's betrayal of her. As she said, she has always felt some sort of bond with him and even though they separated during his Tully relationship, I think she still thought he had her back, especially since he did save her one week. To find out he doesn't has really shaken her world and her perception of the BB house. We had hypothesized that a Drew betrayal would hurt her far more than Ed doing so and I think that we're seeing that that is true.
Second, Jade is struggling with missing Katie and Lucy, who I think were her emotional touchstone in the house. Without them there, she is finding it hard to hold on to a positive attitude. Watching her conversations with Ed and Mikkayla today, she just seems checked out, even with Ed sitting right there. One would think she would be loving being tied to him and yet she seemed totally uninterested in being near him.
Which brings up the third problem, Ed's looming eviction. Because Tim nominated Ed and Drew and because Jade couldn't save Ed, Jade knows he has a high probability of going home. My guess is Jade is worrying about her ability to survive without him in the house while simultaneously worrying about him being outside of the house. She has no control over what happens, either with the eviction or with their relationship and, because of that, I think she's retreating inward, as she already has a tendency to do.
So just when she needs to be reaching out to other HMs (which I thought she was doing the last few days) Jade is mentally and emotionally retreating because she has no idea who she can trust and who will even be there in the coming weeks. Add to that the fact that the season seems to be dragging on and on and Jade doesn't think she can actually win the whole thing, and I think you have a girl who is struggling to even want to stay in the game.
