"Disposable humans" ? Hmmm, which sort of folk do you think will be "disposed of" first ... and what (including what kind of ideology) will bring about the next round of purges and killing fields and mass graves ?

... and how soon may that be !?

from here: http://www.americanthinker.com/2014/04/the_twilight_of_abundance.html

"The Twilight of Abundance"

Baby boomers enjoyed the most benign period in human history. The superpower nuclear standoff gave us fifty years of relative peace. We had cheap energy from an inherent over-supply of oil. Grain supply increased faster than population growth. And the climate warmed due to the highest level of solar activity for eight thousand years. All those trends are now reversing. We are now in the twilight of that age of abundance.

...

In essence, my generation has known a warm, giving Sun, but the next will suffer a Sun that is less giving, and the Earth will be less fruitful. There will be less fruit from the fruited plain and fewer amber waves of grain.

...

That fact started me down a line of enquiry that became a lecture entitled “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse”. That lecture found temporal form in this book.

Who are those four horsemen? A severe, solar-driven cooling is one. Over the next twenty to thirty years, we are going back to the climate of the early 19th century as the best case outcome, or the climate of the late 17th century at worst. Here in the mid-latitudes of North America, growing conditions will move three hundred miles south from their current position. The United States will be producing twenty percent less grain by 2030, taking the United States out of export markets. Grain prices will return to 19th century levels in constant dollar terms.

The second horseman is the fact that a number of countries, but particularly those in the Middle East, are playing a big game of musical chairs. One day the music will stop and there won’t be enough grain to feed everybody. This outcome will be brought forward by the climate-driven reduction in grain supply.

The consequent population collapse will take the Middle East back to the population levels of the Napoleonic era. Every grain importing country is at risk to some extent. As Yemen or Afghanistan or Egypt tip over into collapse due to starvation, there will be an immediate bidding war on the world’s grain markets for what stocks are available. It will all be a big surprise when it happens.

The third horseman is our energy supply, starting with oil. In short, the oil price has tripled over the last ten years but oil production is no higher. It hasn’t responded to the price signal because production is physically constrained by geology. Soon oil production will tip into decline and the price rise will resume and accelerate. We can solve our long term energy supply problem by commercialising the thorium molten salt reactor. There are literally hundreds of designs for generating nuclear power, but thorium in a liquid salt is the safest with the least waste generation. Commercialising that reactor is absolutely necessary if we are going to maintain a high level of civilisation going forward.

The fourth horseman is the Pakistani nuclear bomb program. Not so much their current stockpile of nuclear weapons but the fact that they keep on building more reactors for making weapons-grade plutonium. They have three operating and they are now building their fourth. This is a country with a literacy rate of 55% and frequent power blackouts. Let’s not descend into cultural relativism by suggesting that they don’t have their priorities right.

The Pakistanis must really like making nuclear bombs. They will still be making nuclear bombs while taking their last breath before the country becomes a failed state. And the completed stockpile will seek a new home. Then things might get really interesting.

...

Socialism is an archaic and regressive behaviour that we left behind in evolutionary terms with the development of agriculture ten thousand years ago. It all has to do with the enormous amount of effort needed to take human babies and infants through to adolescence. That led to group food pooling behaviour in our Palaeolithic forbears. Everything was shared and nobody got ahead no matter how hard they tried. It seems that our species was once hard-wired for socialism.

Fortunately, group food pooling behaviour was superseded by the storable surpluses from agriculture and civilisation blossomed thereafter. This was the beginning of private property, capital formation, division of labour and all the other good things that led to the level of civilisation we now enjoy. Thus conservatism is a more evolved state than socialism.

...

-=-=-=-=-=-

With the blood of millions upon millions upon millions on its head and hands, the ideology that is socialism is certain to both continue and increase its murderous ways.

It is that terrible beast's natural way and state to crush and devour until freedom is gone and only fear and suffering remains.

Fatal crash driver sues dead victim’s family for emotional suffering

from here (and many other google news locations): http://www.news.com.au/world/fatal-...tional-suffering/story-fndir2ev-1226897343239

A WOMAN who hit three teenage boys on bikes while driving, killing one and injuring the other two, is suing the dead teen for the emotional trauma she suffered.

Mother-of-three Sharlene Simon, 42, is also suing the other two boys and the dead boy’s family for $AU1.3 million in damages due to her psychological suffering, including depression, anxiety, irritability and post-traumatic stress.

The claim follows the accident which killed 17-year-old Brandon Majewski when Ms Simon struck him from behind in her SUV as he rode along the Innisfil Beach Rd on October 28, 2012 about 1.30am.

Brandon’s mate Richard McLean, 16, was seriously injured in the crash, breaking multiple bones including his pelvis. Another friend 16-year-old Jake Roberts was knocked off his bike but luckily escaped with only scratches.

In a statement of claim filed in a Canadian court, Ms Simon blames the boys for negligence, the Toronto Sun reports.

“They did not apply their brakes properly,” the claim states. “They were incompetent bicyclists.”

Ms Simon is also suing the County of Simcoe for failing to maintain the road.

I saw that, have to wonder what she's thinking doing such a cruel thing. Apparently some folks think the whole accident and subsequent investigation is sus with her not being the one to call emergency services or the fact she didn't get breathalysed at the scene and the fact her hubby is a cop. That being said nothings been proven but I suspect we might be hearing more about this.

"I must admit I am strongly tempted to agree that, since I am not a climate scientist, I should from now on remain silent on the subject — on the clear understanding, of course, that everyone else plays by the same rules. No more statements by Ed Davey, or indeed any other politician, including Ed Milliband, Lord Deben and Al Gore. Nothing more from the Prince of Wales, or from Lord Stern. What bliss!

But of course this is not going to happen. Nor should it; for at bottom this is not a scientific issue. That is to say, the issue is not climate change but climate change alarmism, and the hugely damaging policies that are advocated, and in some cases put in place, in its name…

According to the temperature records kept by the UK Met Office (and other series are much the same), over the past 150 years (that is, from the very beginnings of the Industrial Revolution), mean global temperature has increased by a little under a degree centigrade — according to the Met Office, 0.8ºC. This has happened in fits and starts, which are not fully understood. To begin with, to the extent that anyone noticed it, it was seen as a welcome and natural recovery from the rigours of the Little Ice Age. But the great bulk of it — 0.5ºC out of the 0.8ºC — occurred during the last quarter of the 20th century. It was then that global warming alarmism was born.

But since then, and wholly contrary to the expectations of the overwhelming majority of climate scientists, who confidently predicted that global warming would not merely continue but would accelerate, given the unprecedented growth of global carbon emissions, as China’s coal-based economy has grown by leaps and bounds, there has been no further warming at all. To be precise, the latest report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), a deeply flawed body whose non-scientist chairman is a committed climate alarmist, reckons that global warming has latterly been occurring at the rate of — wait for it — 0.05ºC per decade, plus or minus 0.1ºC. Their figures, not mine. In other words, the observed rate of warming is less than the margin of error....

The lessons of the unpredicted 15-year global temperature standstill (or hiatus as the IPCC calls it) are clear. In the first place, the so-called Integrated Assessment Models which the climate science community uses to predict the global temperature increase which is likely to occur over the next 100 years are almost certainly mistaken, in that climate sensitivity is almost certainly significantly less than they once thought, and thus the models exaggerate the likely temperature rise over the next hundred years.....

...

Global warming orthodoxy is not merely irrational. It is wicked."

The above quote was from here:
http://blogs.news.com.au/heraldsun/...lobal_warming_is_no_longer_about_the_science/

In short, it seems clear that climate alarmism is basically a scam used by an evil and/or ignorant freeloading minority in order to defraud and rob the purses and freedoms of the majority.

Women & Girls, and their plight around this world - saddens, depresses and frustrates me.

What can we do to help change things???
Violence here simmers, boils at home and burst out into public. Too often lately.

And in Nigeria - OMG. These female children being kidnapped, abused and enslaved allover Africa is terrifying.
I have read some hideous human rights abuse reports on this practice.

It's called "terrorism" and the "female children" you talk of are "christian" and there kidnappers/enslavers, etc, are ... well, read for yourself here:

http://blogs.news.com.au/heraldsun/...boko_harams_leader_will_these_terrorists_are/

ABC presenter Waleed Aly, a Muslim, is often used by Channel 10 and Fairfax to explain away Muslim terrorism. He is the media Left’s acceptable face of Islam, but how acceptable is he really?

...

Yesterday on The Project he was asked as an alleged “an expert on terrorism” to tell us something about Boko Haram.

Boko Haram’s leader himself has been taped saying Allah commands him to sell into slavery the Nigerian school girls his Islamist terrorists have kidnapped. A Muslim intermediary says some of the Christian girls have already forced to convert to Islam.

But Aly, asked to explain who Boko Haram actually was, could not bring himself to describe them as Muslim or even use the word “Muslim” once:

Rove McManus:

So who is this group exactly?…

Waleed Aly:

They are a really, really hard group to define because they are so splintered and so diverse. It started as a fairly coherent group - this is a long time ago, over 10 years ago - and since then they’ve splintered off into all these other little groups. What we do know though is that the broader movement is a terrorist movement and they’ve been wanting to overthrow the Nigerian government and establish a government of their own. But beyond that, this particular group, who have done this particular thing, it’s hard to identify who they are and they might just be vigilantes.

Really? Boko Haram’s leader, Abubakar Shekau, says he took the girls and adds what Waleed Aly won’t:

boko.jpg

BTW, "Boko Haram" basically means "Western Education is Sinful" or "Western Education is forbidden".

or, in other words, Christianity is forbidden.

The problem with that is Despaz is that they are against Muslims also. They are some weird fringe, crazy group offshot from what most consider Islam.

Look at it this way, do the Westboro Baptists represent all christians? No.

This is the difficulty in defining the group. The origin is Muslim, Islam ect. However they are their own thing, at odds with the majority of the Muslim faith.

Surely you'd have problems with various extreme groups like Mormons being considered children? Like those polygamist cult Mormon towns in america. Would you be comfortable describing them as Christian?

...Reaper... that is bloody brilliant lolol!... I hope that you are around to contribute to the 'Photoshop Thread' when it restarts again this year... that is gold!!!!... well done... cheers.

Finding it highly amusing every TV commentary I have watched - TV people can't come to grips with what is a high/low/medium wage.
They struggle with any meaningful commentary - regardless of what they do say on camera, they likely all vote liberal since it is the party that protects their wealth.

Where are all of these fat kids and people hiding?

A lot of these studies are bullshit - they very rarely give you any idea of what criteria they used, and how they gathered any info.
63% of Aus adults are supposedly fat?
So do they all stay home?
For I have never been anywhere that fat people out number ordinary shapes.

Have you seen these supposed flocks of fat people and kids? I sure haven't.
You see some overweight adults, here and there, but hardly an epidemic.
I can't recall the last fat kid I spotted.

They all must hang out at the footy & rugby, places you will never find me.
I wonder - what I have been assessed as without ever consulting me.

I understand there are real dietary issues in our world - but I'm sorry i don't believe there are more fat than fine people, and 63% is a lot.

HAHA @kxk the only place where I've seen lots of fat people is on the news when ever they do a story about obesity. What's funny is that it's always the same footage, perhaps it took a long time to get all the footage of the fatties, nobody can be fucked getting new stuff.
