Just the latest chapter in the Ethnic cleansing being done by Israel.
Why our country blinding supports this country of extreme fundamentalists is beyond me.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/israel-gave-birth-control-to-ethiopian-jews-without-their-consent-8468800.htmlIsrael has admitted for the first time that it has been giving Ethiopian Jewish immigrants birth-control injections, often without their knowledge or consent.

OK so do we wrap our kids up now in bubblewrap for the rest of their lives? Blowing out candles on a cake might introduce germs to other kids that might get sick.
Well whaddaya know?
Hasn't this been going on for years at kindies and child care centres? So why's it now only a problem worth noticing?
Don't you love government gone mad, and the nanny state?
My opinion is we should leave things as they are. There's no danger to our kids at kindy or in child care from blowing out candles on cakes.. FFS.

Generally the little tikes at kindy can barely blow anyway - i mean from 1-4 you usually have to blow with them. Little kids are crap at blowing, just try and teach them to whistle and you will see.
And if they have a problem, just put the candles on one corner or on a cupcake. Have never found gobbies or spit from kids on our cakes.
And if they really are serious about this crap - well I'm about to invent disposable non stick cake blow covers, and piss off it's my idea.

Is anyone here commenting on the AFL doping news.......Seems not just the AFL .........
You know what?
It's money...... It's so sad that sport has come to this but it's all due to money..... BIG BIG MONEY.
And the fans are to blame too. They want spectacle and entertainment.
Just my opinion as a spectator and occasional sports fan

Have no idea what's going on exactly..........sounds incredible from the snippets Have seen on TV, the people who aren't saying much just look shocked and horrified enough for me to think it's quite awful.
One thing I do know, a lot of AFL recruits are gullible kids straight from the country who would be led to do whatever they are told.
One of my sisters once worked as a sort of MUM to Melbourne recruits.
They then had them lodged in a big house with a motherly woman to cook and clean and tell them to brush their teeth - my sis.
They were all big dopey kids. That was a long time ago, but still...........horrible if they have more or less duped them with suss injections.

BREAKING NEWS: Pope Benedict to stand down as leader of the Catholic church
Pope Benedict XVI is to stand down as leader of the Catholic church, it was announced today.
The 85-year-old Pontiff said his strength was 'no longer adequate to continue in office due to his advanced age'.
He said: 'I have had to recognise my incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted to me.'
He said he was making the decision in 'full freedom' but was 'fully aware of the gravity of this gesture'.
A Vatican spokesman said he will retire on February 28.

Further details of his resignation are not yet clear, but the decision is highly unusual as the vast majority of incumbents die in office.
A spokesman for the German government said that he was 'moved' by news of the Pope’s resignation.
Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger became Pope Benedict XVI when he took office at the age of 78 in April 2005 after succeeding Pope John Paul II.
Ratzinger's stern leadership of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith, the modern successor to the Inquisition, delighted conservative Catholics but upset moderates and other Christians whose churches he described as deficient.

POPE BENEDICT'S RESIGNATION STATEMENT IN FULL
Dear Brothers,
I have convoked you to this Consistory, not only for the three canonizations, but also to communicate to you a decision of great importance for the life of the Church.
After having repeatedly examined my conscience before God, I have come to the certainty that my strengths, due to an advanced age, are no longer suited to an adequate exercise of the Petrine ministry.
I am well aware that this ministry, due to its essential spiritual nature, must be carried out not only with words and deeds, but no less with prayer and suffering.
However, in today’s world, subject to so many rapid changes and shaken by questions of deep relevance for the life of faith, in order to govern the bark of Saint Peter and proclaim the Gospel, both strength of mind and body are necessary, strength which in the last few months, has deteriorated in me to the extent that I have had to recognize my incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted to me.
For this reason, and well aware of the seriousness of this act, with full freedom I declare that I renounce the ministry of Bishop of Rome, Successor of Saint Peter, entrusted to me by the Cardinals on 19 April 2005, in such a way, that as from 28 February 2013, at 20:00 hours, the See of Rome, the See of Saint Peter, will be vacant and a Conclave to elect the new Supreme Pontiff will have to be convoked by those whose competence it is.
Dear Brothers, I thank you most sincerely for all the love and work with which you have supported me in my ministry and I ask pardon for all my defects.
And now, let us entrust the Holy Church to the care of Our Supreme Pastor, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and implore his holy Mother Mary, so that she may assist the Cardinal Fathers with her maternal solicitude, in electing a new Supreme Pontiff.
With regard to myself, I wish to also devotedly serve the Holy Church of God in the future through a life dedicated to prayer.
