And to top this off this guy is a supposed "expert Doctor and pediatrician" used by many famous people on TV in the USA including the likes of Oprah on her show..

What a monster?

And it started with him dragging her by the ankles along the driveway of their home during a domestic dispute some time before the waterboarding.

Even more amazing that he only gets a $750 bond. WTF???????

My opinion is that people like this should just not breed. But it seems if you are rich and have some kind of status the penalty for such a crime isn't very harsh at all. Now had that been some lower income joe schmo I guess the book would have been thrown at them and they would have been locked up in jail right away and the kids taken off their hands...

Just amazing what some "humans" are capable of.
 
I had to read the article to learn what "waterboarding" was.

I can't say I feel any more faith in the human race now I know.

There is a long standing line of stories in SF of societies that are so called "modern" ones that devolve..... I sometimes wonder if that's what is starting to pop through here and there when stories like this are about.

Seems like in the USA they need a new boogeyman every day so now they go after a band. Sponsors like Hot Topic have dropped their merchandise because of the label. I hope they win this case just to shove it up the US government, and it's mentality of fear.
 
You don't usually get added to FBI lists for no reason though do you? If enough of their fans are douching around being ass hats then they are going to attract a bad rep. Now I am not saying the Juggalos are a gang group but it would only take a handful of their fans acting out for the whole lot to be tarred with the same brush in this day and age.

What do most think of this?

I am kind of torn on the issue. While I did have similar fees charged to my account once before when I was with another bank I can kind of see both sides to this. Yes it does seem like a wrong to charge someone $40 if they are even 1 or 2 dollars in the red on an account, but at the same time it's meant as a sort of dissincentive to not do that to your account.

On the other hand it can't be that much of a burden for the bank if a few small accounts are in the negative. At the end of the day it's not going to send them broke any time soon with the profits they keep making. ...... Yes a bit naive and shallow but that's what I think.
 
I'm hearing the Brits are waiting for Assange to leave the building and arrest him, but you're right. They can't enter the embassy.
