THERE’S no show without punch — the final three I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here contestants ended up having to be rescued in the last Tucker Trial of the season.
And it wasn’t a high wire or gruesome food Trial that stopped celebrities in their tracks.
Casey Donovan, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Dane Swan were rendered immobile as they attempted to wade through non-Newtonian fluid in the Back To Your Future challenge.

“It’s unquestionably the most dramatic finale trial in the shows history, in any country,” channel Ten head of entertainment and factual programming Stephen Tate said.
Hosts Julia Morris and Chris Brown had to step in, as well as two rangers and a safety officer to ply the trio out of the liquid with the assistance of wooden planks.
Non-Newtonian fluid allows a person to walk across it if they move quickly but once stuck you must move slowly to release yourself. Sudden movements thicken the liquid similarly to concrete setting.

Heat is a catalyst for the chemical reaction and with temperatures of 36 degrees plus, the fluid solidified faster than expected.
“We wanted to stop Dane Swan in his tracks ... we did that,” Brown mused.
All is well that ends well with none of the celebrities injured and all finding the experience amusing.
