She was a bit aloof and a hog for Bach Blake's time early on and was branded and confronted by Sam's contrived voice of the people uprising, but Laurina wasn't particularly confrontational so it turned into Sam's monologue that didn't achieve too much. Laurina mainly stayed in her own lane but was white-anted by the mob and she picked up some pretty bad body language by Blake quite perceptively and was managing her exit graciously from then on, as she had a business to spruik. I think mostly it was the mob's dislike of her resting bitch face and preparedness to cut in to personal time.

Thanks Witty for responding to my post. This has given me a better insight as to what makes Laurina tick.

To be honest, I have not watched every show of I'm a Celeb..... so I'm still trying to work out what angle Laurina is coming from?

I agree. It was her making a suggestion to contribute to helping out the camp. I found the response to her was a shutdown, basically like they don't care for her contribution in any way. I think they took what she said more personally or they clearly just don't respect her and I feel for her if that is the case.
I think it has a lot to do with how she was in the first week - they all just found her too full on with the constant talking and whining apparently and first impressions are sticking

I still find her whiny in the TukTuk (or whatever they call a Jungle Diary Room) - it has to do not only with the content of what she's saying but also the tone of voice

I also think she is sneaky and knows all the right buttons to push to get her own way - and how to rile JoBeth up

Tonights tucker trial will be interesting ... wonder if they'll bring out the ostrich anus again ...

She does sound whiny and she looks unwell although everyone looks unwell in the diary room. Anthony looks plastic and artificial and the purple shading around Shane's upper lip, mouth and chin is odd.

It's pash rash I tell ya Khun Khun that rash around Warnie's mouth. Heck knows how he got it? O_O

Fev and Dean are the only celebrities that seems to be fairing well in that environment. The others look ghastly. Just my opinion.

I think Laurina is probably wired a little differently from the group, so they've ostracised her rather than try and "understand" her. I also do think there's a little hidden jealousy from the older ladies towards Laurina and Havana. Maybe because of looks, but also probably because they don't feel they've achieved any fame for legitimate reasons. Anthony's face when Havana was discussing her work was pretty telling.

Laurina is definitely a force to be reckoned with and not afraid to speak up which I think makes her her an easy target to be ostracized.

Yup, definitely. Jo Beth seems to be sort of similar in that way, though she knows how to play nice with the older girls to get them onside. Whereas Laurina doesn't seem to care that making suggestions and speaking up isn't making her friends, she's happy to bum around on her own.

...when Anthony and Laurina were doing their 'wood duties' and Anthony just walked away from her and left her far behind I thought that he was being so pathetic and childish... Laurina is a nice person... patronising at times (whether intentional or not) but that's not a reason to treat her like shit... grow up Anthony you spoilt little wussy girl!... he's really beginning to give me the irrits as of late... I hope that he goes soon... he's just rude and nasty... cheers.

...^^^^... you nailed it there Tuxie... I totally agree with you... cheers.

...interesting... most of the camp 'high-fived' Jo Beth but not Laurina as they left camp to do the tucker trial... sad... cheers.

...Laurina asks Doctor Chris... "do they really eat this stuff in Africa?"... he responds... "nothing goes to waste here!"... (only because they are starving to death perhaps?)... and what's that on the plate?... pigs-arse!... wow!... Jo Beth actually gives Laurina a good wrap to the others in camp!... great!... perhaps she meant it when she said that she doesn't care about their fight anymore after all?... cheers.

grow up Anthony you spoilt little wussy girl!

I actually thought he did the mature thing here by keeping quiet and not starting a fight. If He was a 'spoilt little wussy girl' as you put it, he would have had digs at Laurina and started some kind of arguement. Sometimes the best way you can get along with people is by shutting your mouth and getting the job done, so that's what he did.
