so do we think it was fair of production to pick that discussion to show us given that most of the Australian viewers would disagree with his opinion?
maybe he's not giving enough entertainment but is getting a lot of votes due to the hunk factor so they've shown this clip to poison his challice?

plus what we saw was editted so we didnt hear everyone elses 10 cents worth or the full conversation

a bit of bias showing do u think?

i am in no way defending his opinion or endorsing it ... he has every right to his opinions though and at least he does speak up and express his opinion even though he knows it may not be the consensus ... but it reeks a bit of being a set up for turning people off him

Maybe he went because some would have thought him a "Dibber Dobber"?

I am just so glad that Val and Brendan are still there...Both of those are giving very good value IMHO.
 
Missed this, but am really surprised to see Akmal is gone. Would have thought that Bonnie Bonkers or Dull Dean would have gone before him easy. I really don't think this show gets a lot of votes and that's why there are some early surprises.

I think the final three (given no amazing intruders come in) will be Shane, Brendan and Chief. It will be a total boys club at the end. Go Val! Go Laurina!

I don't think Akmal wanted to stay. I read an article where it said he had threatened to leave a couple of times. It seems he was self conscious that he is a comedian but isn't funny or "on" all the time, he was worried being on the show was career suicide.

Didn't some on on the first BB get evicted for using "oils" to clean himself instead of soap and water?
 
I would have gone with all food, not the football. They could make a replacement for that by tying clothes into a ball.
 
Val gets the short straw (and hence potentially the most physically demanding trial, depending on how high the water rises).

I wonder how many votes to save they are getting this year? Was surprised to see Akmal go but last year they had Facebook and Twitter voting you could do to save people as well as sms. This year's they've limited the save voting to sms.

Yeah, was a bit confused on that. He's against killing of wildlife, etc and his charity is CACH (http://www.cannedlion.org/), and yet he seemed a bit supportive of a side in politics in which quite a few on don't seem to care much for.
 
...I was out tonight and have just managed to watch tonight's episode...

(1)... Warnie and Dev's task was disgusting... it was funny when Dev touched Warnie with something and he jumped... funny as...

(2)... Laurina eating that fruit..."if the native animals are eating it then it's fit enough for us to be able to eat it"... now that does make logical sense... while the others go hungry and thirsty Laurina is the only one so far to take advantage of the food growing around them... she would last a lot longer than the rest of them if they were shipwrecked on an island or whatever... that girl has strong survival instincts in my books lol!... she's pretty 'clued-up' from what I can see...

(3)... JoBeth/Bonnie and Val for the task... 3 telephone boxes and each one will have 'distractions'... this sounds like it's going to be fun... Val draws the worst telephone box... those maggots in Jo Beth's hair made me want to vomit!... URGH!... Bonnie is joined by 10,000 flies?... (I pity the poor bastard that had to count them all and also... I sure hope that they killed them all with insect spray rather than setting them free)... whoa!... here goes Val... what are they going to do to her?... water starts pouring in and she doesn't even flinch lol!... 10 crocodiles/10 catfish/20 snakes and 100 frogs are put into the tank with her and she's more worried about the questions lol!... how bloody great is Val??... she is made of steel!... lolol!... a great effort by all 3 girls... 8 stars all up...

(4).. they go back and tell the rest of the camp of what happened to them... why the hell don't they show the others on a TV screen what they did after they have announced to them just how many stars they got?... if the others knew what they went through then they may be more appreciative of what they went through to get the stars?... that amazes me that they don't show it... I wish that I ran that show... I would do stuff like that just to see the reactions of the others faces... that would be great TV in my opinion...

(5)... Valentine's Day cards... they were okay but they slowed the show down for me... it was good for their morale's though so I guess that the segment was needed in the end...

(6)... Julia is on fire yet again with her little skits with Dr Chris... they gel so well together as a duo don't they?... Julia looks hot as usual too...

(7)... Dean actually speaks and sounds like a total nuff nuff to me... can he not understand that no guns means less deaths in the USA?... it's not a hard formula to understand is it?... (I hope it's him who goes tonight)...

(8)... Warnie talks about Kerry Packer's betting in Vegas... wow!...

(9)... Havana (doo do di doo doo) has a Birthday party... some end up in the pool (I would so love to swim in that pool)...

(10)... time to see who it is that is going... (please let it be Dean)... it's... aw shit!... it's Akmal!!!... oh what a shame... I'm devastated!... I so liked him... (it sure looks like he's actually happy about it though doesn't he?)... oh well... at least he'll have heaps of material for his next tour eh?... it was interesting that Val and Dev were among the 3 wasn't it?... how the hell was it that Dean wasn't up for eviction?... he does totally NOTHING AT ALL in the show?... WTF????...

(11)... Warnie's 'jungle 11'... yup!...

(12)... Akmal's exit interview... hilarious of course...

...a good show... those maggots in Jo Beth's hair still want to make me want to vomit though... cheers.
