I don't think she's being bullied by the others - or even picked on by the others - she's done her very best to rub people up the wrong way for her own purposes - so she has to be able to deal with their attitude towards her because she created it

I messed Friday night and Sunday night's shows as was over in NZ ... and realised too late that I was blocked on viewing content over there :( but will catch up over the next few nights ...

the whole Fitzy and Wippa thing seemed quite lame ... and whilst I can understand the task was scarey Wippa could at least have tried to hand over that last flag since he had it in his hand anyway ... you could see the Chief was a bit exasperated by his wimping out

Fev calling Paul out to be more vocal as a leader was good - he had a point - if Paul had spoken up Fev wouldn't have gotten so heated with Laurina ... and Laurina was baiting Fev with the little snarky comebacks ... when you're annoyed the last thing you can deal with nicely is little chirping snarky bitchy comebacks ... its like a red rag to a bull really .. and Laurina is well aware of it

If they've done away with the chores list I guess her only chore will be getting herself up off her bed!!

I agree with all of that, but I do think she was picked on especially in the beginning. Sneered at, for want of a better way of putting it, for her lack of celebrity. She is being a total pot stirrer of course and loving it, but something about it all feels off. Hey, what the heck would we know really. We don't see everything and aren't there. Maybe there's a mole in there. lol. Who knows. Make Fev new camp leader and then see what happens.

agree but I think she brought a lot of the sneering down on herself ... she isn't exactly self-deprecating is she? and unless they'd actually watched the Bachelor noone would know who she was ... and when she acts in a totally selfish way or talks endlessly about the Bachelor (because that's the ONLY thing she CAN talk about) the others who have been doing whatever they've been doing to be rated "celebrity" for at least a few years (Havana and Dean) and putting the 'hard yards' in - it must be pretty sneer-worthy to see her thinking that she is all that plus a bag of chips!

Laurina's main problem is she's not a team player - whereas you can see the likes of Fev, Paul and Shane from their sporting background DO think of everything in regards to the team rather than individually - and she's frustrating them because no matter how many times they tell her she needs to be a team player she refuses to be one - instead she says she isn't going to be a sheep and follow the crowd

she doesn't understand the team player idea at all

...I agree with you that she was picked on to start with and I think because she soon realised that she was never going to be part of the 'clique' that she thought 'stuffit!'... and then decided to become a 'character' in this show... why not?... as you said... they always sneered at her and didn't treat her with any respect (even when she's got the most food for the camp) because they didn't deem her to be a 'true celebrity' as they all regarded themselves to be... I would've done the same... let's face it... Havana and herself are probably the most intelligent one's in the camp... why wouldn't she do the shit stirring and annoying just because she is just that... left out of the group... she has nothing to lose either way does she?... I so hope that she wins this just to shove it up the rest of them that have isolated her so much... I really do...

...now that there are no more chores being allocated out why does there actually need to be a 'camp leader' now?... they're all doing their 'own thing' now regardless aren't they?... and one more thing... Fev has no right whatsoever to swear at Laurina like that no matter for what reason... what a pig!... I used to like him until that moment... if he went in the next eviction I wouldn't be too upset now... he sounded disgusting speaking to her like that... I think that even Paul was annoyed at him for doing it too... hence his reason for not talking to Laurina about it straight away... Paul is too nice a person to rip into someone in a crowd just because of the cajoling to do so by one other person... Fev is a twat!... cheers.
 
I missed last nights Ep and I only just caught the fight between Fev and Laurina before heading to uni this arv. I can't believe how disgusting Fev acted. He shouldn't have spoken to ANYONE like that even if they'd bloody eaten every piece of food in the entire camp!! Let alone for something like keeping a bit extra. I understand that Laurina has peeved off a lot of people, and she does seem to revel in it a bit. But my god, the anger that Fev showed towards her when he threw down her container actually made me flinch.
 
I know she has been evicted for a while. I have been reading back on this thread. Was I the only one who loved Bonnie Bonkers?

She was my favourite celebrity. She was so eccentric and I loved when she cried at the drop of a hat when someone complimented her or she didn't think she was good enough in a trial. Haha.

She was absolutely adorable.

I liked her too, I felt she left far too early.

...I liked her a whole lot too... the only thing was when she got lulled into that 'clique' with Jo Beth and Anthony and others... I was a tad bit disappointed with her for that... she never actually said anything nasty about anyone in camp (Laurina) but she did revel in gossip etc about Laurina while in that clique... but I do agree with you about her... she was a wonderful celebrity to have inside the camp for me... cheers.

Yeah I didn't like the clique business either but with Bonnie she said many times she thought Laurina had a good heart but did silly things sometimes so that didn't put me off her. Had she been saying nasty things I wouldn't have liked her.

I agree. So much. I was quite uncomfortable with that scene last night and could not register the reactions that were all for it. No matter how laurina is, there is never an excuse for that type of reaction- never. And like you I think the chief was uncomfortable with it too. Wippa was the only one who told Fev to calm the language and that there was no need for it.

I agree Lucas, she was eccentric and I quite enjoyed her silliness in that charming way. Unfortunately she let herself get caught up in the clique drama, but regardless of that I thought she was a lovely person. I really do. She has a natural joy to her and such a free spirit.

It's a form of intimidation IMO. I don't care how it's justified that it's a normal reaction to lose control at times. It is as an over reaction and he should have walked away

A not great "lets change things up" stunt. It jarred and I felt it was kinda "force fed " to us.

It was force fed. The only good thing if you see it as that, is that it did seem to revive some of the personalities in the camp with fresh conversation, but it also disrupted the tensions that were building with the continued routine. They really did seem to focus mainly on wippa and I found myself fast forwarding because of it
