I think that Laurina has never done herself any favours with her demeanour at times and I feel uncomfortable watching her trying to be part of the group. She comes across as awkward. I really feel as if she's being picked on and maybe some of that's her own fault, but don't treat her as if she's a second class celebrity. I wonder how shocked etc she could be when she sees the reactions from the others towards her.

That's a good accomplishment to collect eggs now, I have never experienced that. Did you need to replace the eggs with anything. Or was the chicken not on the eggs?

They were just in the nesting boxes. I am not sure what I'd do if they were sitting on them. I picked up a chicken once. She just crouched down as if she was going to be mounted. I was very cautious and gentle with her. Quite soft.
 
What would you do to overcome boredom?
I would survey who has what expertise, and request tutoring sessions, they should enjoy lecturing me to stave off boredom too.
Warnie could teach me cricket subtleties and tricks, Chief could explain that code I have no clue, Val acting lessons, Jobeth yoga, etc.

@Khun Khun I had a friend with the bird phobia, and only realised how bad that is when we went for a walk, into a park.
I had to get her out real quick, and crap birds are everywhere when you notice. How does this impact on your life, must be tough?

I like your thinking about asking for tips and tutoring. I give good foot massages so that could be my contribution.
Yes, birds are everywhere. I hate it when they are around in cafes and I keep my eye on them. I get quite edgy so prefer to sit inside. Sparrows and pigeons are the worst in that regard. Years ago I had picked a bbq chook to pieces for a casserole and freaked out as I was standing in my kitchen looking at it and thinking there's a dead bird in my kitchen. It was the carcass of a cooked chicken ffs. Dead birds are the absolute worst. I will take a detour to avoid passing them. I know, I know. Ridiculous. I have a fear that someone will throw a dead bird at me.

I said that Fitzy would've been better than Wippa but the disruption would be too great at this stage and he'd take over. Wippa was less big. Shane coming in when he did was seamless. Force fed, that sounds very apt.

I wondered why she used that word when I heard her say it. What was Heather's response, considering that she is an ex Bachelorette herself, albeit further up the process than Laurina.

Heather said she found it very interesting and telling, and that she herself mistakenly thought The Bachelor was about being yourself and looking for love.

Telling could be the operative word. Surely in a show like Bachelor with such a short time frame and next to no time with the 'star', playing a character could be the way to go, especially for people like Laurina. Get your foot in the door, get your face on camera, create a persona and go where it takes you.

so in other words she is never the genuine article ... so she's manipulating everyone - including us

she knows the rules around food - she enjoyed pushing Fev's buttons ... she wants to draw out the negative side of anyone there but if she thinks she's showing a positive side she's wrong

I don't think she's being bullied by the others - or even picked on by the others - she's done her very best to rub people up the wrong way for her own purposes - so she has to be able to deal with their attitude towards her because she created it

I messed Friday night and Sunday night's shows as was over in NZ ... and realised too late that I was blocked on viewing content over there :( but will catch up over the next few nights ...

the whole Fitzy and Wippa thing seemed quite lame ... and whilst I can understand the task was scarey Wippa could at least have tried to hand over that last flag since he had it in his hand anyway ... you could see the Chief was a bit exasperated by his wimping out

Fev calling Paul out to be more vocal as a leader was good - he had a point - if Paul had spoken up Fev wouldn't have gotten so heated with Laurina ... and Laurina was baiting Fev with the little snarky comebacks ... when you're annoyed the last thing you can deal with nicely is little chirping snarky bitchy comebacks ... its like a red rag to a bull really .. and Laurina is well aware of it

If they've done away with the chores list I guess her only chore will be getting herself up off her bed!!

the food ones would do me in - the minute anyone starts retching I'm gone - just the sound of it sets me off no matter how good I'm feeling ... and once you've got the sights/smells combining with that ... I'd be done!
