I just did a bit of sleuthing/borderline stalking of Ryan, and found this.

It says he worked at Buckingham and Company Estate Agents as a reception for a couple of years, who are a pretty big real estate company in my general area.

So unless the name is a coincidence, my guess is that this dude is his dad and Ryan's family is loaded.
