Housemate #5 TULLY!

All those speculations are driving me crazy. I want to know what happened today. My biggest fault is curiosity. I don't like not knowing :D

Cheers!

Ok gave that a read and yeah she does sound pissed at Tully. Sounds like Drully did have sex!
I still think she is pissed at BB BUT after reading her post she is also very disappointed with Tully for what she did.
Going to be interesting when Tully gets out.

Will have to keep an eye on this thread.
Yeah I'm thinking they had sex too or at least something close for her to finally give up on running the accounts. She's a tough girl for weathering the storm for this long. No way would've I been able to watch all this on tv, support Tahlia privately and still try to support Tully publicly as well. It gives me reassurance though that no matter how desperate for ratings Aussie tv shows are that they still know the difference between right and wrong and warned Tahlia weeks ago about what was going to happen so she didn't sit in the live eviction audience and now have done it again. I reckon if this was on the US or UK versions they wouldn't have said a word to Tahlia just so they could film her live reaction.

Ok then :)

This is important too

From Tully's friend

The only reason I want those accounts now is to try and be a buffer for the online hate.

Please try and remember that there is more than one person at fault here.
The producers, the psychiatrists on the show and drew are all also equally to blame.
She's saying exactly what many of us have been saying for quite awhile now on the forum. In fact myself and several others tweeted Alex telling him the same thing. But we were told by diehard Tully fans that she's fine, no one has done anything wrong and the situation with her and Drew was completely innocent. And this was AFTER Tahlia broke up with her. If all those supposed fans of Tully really gave a crap about her they would've stopped voting and let her get the support she needs in the real world instead of prolonging this for their own selfish enjoyment. She has no hope of winning the show so each week they keep her in the house each week they're preventing her from getting real support from family and friends. But yeah, those fans love her so much. As if.

I refuse to see how Big Brother is at all to blame for this. Did they insist on Tully and Drew sharing a bed? Nope.

Did they say, "Hey here's a good plot twist! Hide under the doona, towel, dog bed, rose bush in the back yard etc and make out!!" Nope.

They have no one to blame but themselves. To try and put any onus of blame on the BB show is ludicrous.

Hi all,

I haven't posted on this forum or spent a large amount of time on here due to hateful messages about my friend Tully. However, I have popped my head in every now and then and feel something needs to be said.

I run (ran?) @tullysmythbb - the twitter for Tully that was discussed due to my tweets last night.

The reason I started this And the Facebook page was a) Tully asked me to and b) I wanted to be able to clear her name if anything was misconstrued or people or bb was making false accusations. This is what I did the first few weeks of Drully, until it become horribly obvious that I couldn't keep pretending that it was editing at fault when everyone can see the two of them attempting to hide from cameras to make out.

On top of dealing with my friend publicly embarrassing herself, I deal with hundreds of hate messages a day - some have become so personal as well.

As well as this, I am living my own life which means being involved in the lesbian scene and making sure Tahlia is okay. I am in constant contact with her, have stayed at her house and dealt with her being so heartbroken and torn up because of all this.

Of course Big Brother tells her things before they air. People need to remember that they both auditioned and both got through the first initial rounds. They know Tahlia and have a responsibility to her.

Which leads me back to last night.

Channel 9 has marketing this series as a children's show. Which is why I believe that what I know won't be shown.

Regardless of a certain act being classified as cheating or not, this hasn't seated well with me for a long time. And I know first hand that Tully does tell everyone she loves them, does call people baby, does like to cuddle in bed. In her initial online videos she asked the first date question "would you spoon me if I'm cold?"
And these aren't the issues that Tahlia is upset over.

The only reason I want those accounts now is to try and be a buffer for the online hate.

Please try and remember that there is more than one person at fault here.

I love Tully. And will try my best to be there for her but as someone who has been cheated on and it was Tully who took me in, fed me and looked after me, this is all a bit much.

I owe her a lot and she is someone I consider to be an older sister and mentor which is why this is all so confusing. Something I would never do.

Please keep trying to not judge. As so many people have said on this forum, nobody is perfect.

Hopefully she is out soon and this is all over.

For everyone who has defended and supported her this whole time, thank you so much.

I like everything that was said just with the exception of apportioning blame to the show psychologists or producers. I'm not sure how the psychologists could ever be possibly to blame for Tully's poor decisions. Likewise, based on this letter alone, it sounds like the producers have been beyond kind in informing Tahlia beforehand in order to avoid the embarrassment of being taken off guard. Again, its not their fault if Tully makes poor decisions and it even sounds like they are being restrained in what they are showing. I do feel for her friends and family and the frustration and heartbreak they must be going through while watching helplessly from the outside world. But it doesn't help to try and deflect the blame to anyone other than where it lies with Tully and Drew.

100% agree. I don't get those fans either.

Agree with every single word.

I am a fan of Tully. I want her to stay because she wants to. I want her to leave because the hate will get worse. I want her to be OK.

I am a fan despite the fact that I don't approve of cheating. It would have been good if she hadn't but she is human. I see more to her than her behavior. I like her

THIS.

Stop voting for her. PLEASE stop voting for her.

In many countries especially in the US an employer can be at fault in front of law if they allow or enable a workplace affair that results a divorce for example. As far as I can see, Big Brother is Tully's employer. They are also at fault if they know their work environment will worsen the worker's mental health for example. I've read of many cases where the employer has made a deal and paid six number figures in dollars to avoid negative publicity.

How are people even questioning this?

They wouldn't have a leg to stand on in a US case based on the contract they signed and more importantly because they aren't married. A court is not going to recognize a dating relationship in that kind of case.

am wondering if the "event" we're all speculating over is more along the lines of a serious conversation about what happens after BB since Tully and Drew must realise the odds have shortened considerably now ... and so they've had yet another "plane crash" conversation ... and what they've discussed had included her relationship with her ex ... and their relationship continuing outside of the house

It sounds to me despite all the lip service that Tully's friends will support her, reading between the lines, especially referencing the 'lesbian community' and exposing Tully for having sex (which was imo the primary objective of her post - revenge --> sleazy C9 cocks will be having private screenings of that I can guarantee you).

BB are cheapasfuck (didn't even want to pay the former BB cast last year when they popped in) and so won't spend dosh on followup psych. Unless she has family, who are rather quiet, Tully could be in real trouble out there unless Drew is evicted with her. If Drew and Tully are up next week I bet a double would be on the cards.

It's a nice idea but then why would the producers not air it because it was a family friendly show? The latter fact alone points to it being sexual in nature.

I agree with everything you've said, but especially this. I really struggle to understand her fans. They whinge about people hating her and being bullies but THEY'RE the ones keeping her in there! She's only made things worse for herself and she'll keep doing so until she's evicted. If you want to help her, she needs out, she needs her family and friends and she needs to be out of the public eye long before this seasons finished to give people something else to talk about.

I blame Tim, ha ha. I think he suggested they share a bed because he was afraid Drew and Jade might, and that Drew would get hurt by Jade who was really interested in Ed. Shame Drew only cares about himself and not Tully's gf's feelings.

That wouldn't really jive though with teamtully thinking Channel 9 possibly won't show it because it's a family friendly show as a conversation like that would be perfectly fine for prime time, no matter how uncomfortable it may be to watch. I think that's where Tully's friend did it get it wrong however. I think Ch 9 are going to show it, or at least a cleaned up version of it, and that's why they gave the family the heads up so they can make an informed choice as to who is going to sit in the audience on Monday and that person isn't blindsided.

I don't see how the bb team is to blame. They are adults and they know the difference of what is right or wrong. They went onto to the show and whether they lied to the questions asked it does not matter as they were that hungry to be on and didn't care about the consequences. Big brother is a show for entertainment watching, it is not there to guides people's behaviour. They have themselves to blame and no one else. They were the participants in whatever may have happened

Everything wrong in the world of political correctness

Lol its a TV show. lighten up.

I'm with Jo-Bot on this one, just because Tully's mates are unhappy with her actions doesn't mean they get to lay the blame on everyone else. The only people at fault here are her and Drew for the cheating and Tully herself for the terrible bloody attitude she has. I want to know what her friends think of that aspect, leave off about the cheating - what do you say about her day to day behaviour? How do you put up with that? Or does she save her truly horrific behaviour for her lovers?
