Housemate #4 - Ben

Ok.... he's a nice enough bloke n all but tonight has me a bit concerned; I'm wondering if BBAU is the right kind of experience for Ben, or if he's actually going to be a tad traumatised by some of the mind games that BB may have in store for the HMs.
 
i actually feel sorry for him. he must have suddenly realised that all other safe house mates were discussing the fake marriage without him, he had absolutely no idea. it is all nice giving him cuddles, treating him like teddy bears blah blah blah, he must get that a lot that people treat him like he was a 10 year old, all the chit chat that means nothing, when it comes to something important, people simply subconsciously leave him out of the 'adult' convo. it happens in real life, and it happened right in front of our eyes inside BB house. that realisation hurts!

I love him, I hate him, then I don't give a shit. Round and round. The only thing I stand firm on with regards to Ben is he looks better with that giant scone covered, as per when he and Tim swapped clothes and he wore that smelly wooly snood thing.

He reminds me of the sensitive guy from bedazzled.. The one that eats dolphin safe tuna and cries at the site of a sunset.

I am suspicious that he could be an actor, or atleast acting.

It's strange that we had a gay Ben last year, and this year we have another gay Ben this year, but this time gay Ben is a bit of a doofus.. Makes me wonder if BB producers had an issue with Ben, like Ben refusing to show up to BB appearances at dream world, and other promotional things, and used this as a passive aggressive way to annoy him.
After this season is over, Ben will continually be mixed up with other Ben, with Bens ego, I can see that iratating him. He wants to be the only gay in the village, and especially the only gay Ben in the village. New Ben will overshadow him, for the rest of the history of big brother, when someone says "remember Ben" the person will think of the oddball Ben first, because he is far more memorable than bitchy Ben. Old Ben will be forgotten.

Similar. His peanut head disturbs me, and is better covered.
I don't love him, sometimes find him amusing and often hate him, or couldn't give a shit.
I am pissed off at 9, for having a core cast of males they have planned around, Tim, Ben and aussie dude - matt is it at the moment, but they have a selection of spares.

I'm feeling he's a performer of some sorts, community drama.Meow I am getting the actor vibe too.

Ayr - Penfold sure is apt, but isn't Penfold smart.

He's kind of creepy.

At this point I can't really believe the way he speaks aloud to his photographs is not a put on.
He seems to present mostly as this hopeless poorly-socialised man-child, and then he will say or do something to make me think he's actually the most intelligent person in the house. I'm not quite sure how those two things go together yet.
 
I'm only just beginning to think that Ben is not what he says he is...unemployed, lonely and basically a social reject....he's too articulate, he his quite witty and just too damn smooth....is he some kind of stand up comedian or as others have suggested an actor??...I guess the only strange thing with that theory is, there hasn't been any leaks about him through the media...maybe he had a massive make-under before entering the house and prior to that he had long luscious golden ringlets ...oo.. he could be Tim's twin..well no...Tim's brother??.....and living overseas in some quite remote location...

I do still like him though...
