Yeah, I think he just wanted to tell his Mum and Nanna that he misses them. Sure he knew there might be a chance it would be shown on TV but I think he genuinely misses them and he does hope they would be proud of him. They mean the world to him. I am sure most housemates say something about missing their family. I remember Sharon was in the diary room on the Wednesday show talking about how she was missing her kids.

Yeah, I think he just wanted to tell his Mum and Nanna that he misses them. ok, so I'm officially psycho about this. But, Ben *is* Penfold. Hell, even the Wiki agrees:
Ernest Penfold (voiced by Terry Scott): Penfold is a timid, bespectacled hamster, basically Danger Mouse's reluctant assistant.
So:
1. Bespectecled. Is that something like being ridden on a star-spangled banner?
2. Timid. Gottit. Night mum.
3. The blue suit. Check the "meet the housemates" pix on Ch 9's site.
4. Ah shit, it's too late, who cares. This kid *is* Penfold.
But maybe more huggable.

I don't think so.
I find the pathetic trait a huge turn off, and when he gazed lovingly at Mummy and Nanny's photos while sadly bleating "I hope you're proud of meeeeee....." because he lasted 48 hours of fun filled action in the 'have' side of the BB house, resulted in me wanting to dive into my TV and give him a wedgie!
While I still like him, he is going to need to do some heavy duty work to get into my Top 3.

Agree with you Tra, I found the pic talking a little disturbing and kiss kiss made me squirm...ummm...and not in a good way..
But watched his hoedown tis morn on BB site and he's got one thing going for him he's got rhythm...I love a man with good rhythm and I like those that can't resist moving when any kind of music is played.....if I hear music with any kind of beat... I'll toetap or nod the head or move the shoulders or combine all three and really jig no matter where I am.
Must be absolute hell for you when you are at a funeral.

Well, for mine. Benny absolutely nailed it when he commented that he feels mixed about a vote on gay marriage. It *is* weird. In fact it feels totally surreal that people around Oz could vote on whether or not I should be 'allowed' to marry.

i dont think he is dealing with everything so well in the house, from what iv seen on the feeds(website, twitter) he is either alone talking to his photos, or in the diary room talking to BB,
he doesnt seem that happy poor guy
