On first impressions she comes across as self absorbed, certainly vain with an over inflated ego and somewhat vapid. All that said she's smokin hot and am willing to look past those things. Yes i'm as shallow a puddle...
 
Well I think she showed her childish side last night. I don't care if she is hot. I don't like women who act out then get shitty when called on it, plus not having clothes for 1 day. whoop de doo. grow up hun.
 
What she said in her video package about not getting along with other women rubbed me the wrong way. How is it possible you don't get along with 50% of the world's population by virtue of them having a vagina? Girls who say that are always stealth bitches or drama queens who fancy themselves as special snowflakes but don't want to take accountability for their own shitty personality, and are probably suffering from major internalised misogyny. So her video package got some serious side-eye from me. Hopefully she grows up a bit and someone like Tully can straighten out her immature attitude.

I think I'm decent looking, which would make me a fairly confident chick, yet I don't go around assuming other women automatically have it in for me because of jealousy. Otherwise why do I have so many female friends? Women aren't jealous shrews who go around talking shit about any and every girl who is attractive. That's twat-logic right there. I remember you making a number of good posts last year calling out sexist attitudes, so for you to fall into this trap yourself is not a good look.

Well I do think sometimes women are actually like that, I just think its female behaviour and you see it in the media all the time.
Really there have been far worse chicks on BB and I don't think the flack she is getting is deserved.
 
It's not female behaviour, dope, you making a sexist assumption and you're wrong. Use your own example and look in the media, men trash other men AS WELL as women just as often as women trash other women, but when men do the trashing it's at least a valid opinion that can be taken at face value, yet when women do the trashing it's just jealousy. Dismissing other women's opinions as only being the result of feeling threatened by another woman's attractiveness is gross. Check yourself tbh.

Like look in this thread... plenty of posters giving Tahan flack here are MEN. It's one thing to say you think the flack she gets is undeserved (I'd agree with that, after tonight I think I like the girl) but when you chalk up any flack given as being the result of catty women, you look like a fool. Simples.

The only example in the media is Gillard.
And ok, you can believe it's a sexist assumption but at the end of the day I'm not the only one that pointed out the fact that she appears to be hated on for confidence and her looks.

That's definitely not the only example, but I'll go with it... Are you actually saying that when women go in on Gillard it's just because she's "good looking and confident"? LOLWUT? What about all the men who went in on her just as hard? You're not making a lick of sense. Think.

Lol no I meant genuine misogyny toward someone from both sexes in regards to Gillard but she was confident in her ways at least initially.
No, I mean chicks like Delta Goodrem, Taylor Swift etc seem to incite hatred and it doesn't really make sense to me.
Really I can't be bothered arguing about it, but do me a favour and scout through what was said about Tahan in her thread and who was saying.

Exactly - misogyny FROM BOTH SEXES. Women get torn up unfairly in the media all the time, by men AND women, because society is unfair towards women, this much is obvious. My point is this is NOT "female behaviour". Men do it too. I am a huge fan of Taylor Swift, but here's where my issue with your point is - a) there are legitimate gripes about her, which even if I do not agree with I can understand on an intellectual level; everyone is entitled to their own opinion and for me to write it off as being "jealousy" would be fucking idiotic and immature on my part, and b) men make fun of her and hate on her just as much as women do. This is not female behaviour. "Girl hate" is real, yes, but when you're dismissing your fellow woman's opinion of other women as being just the result of jealousy or insecurity, or making assumptions about women's nature as being inherently bitchy or catty, while also ignoring the fact men are saying the exact same thing, you're suffering from your own internalised misogyny just as much as - if not more than - any girl suffering from "girl hate". And if you can't be bothered to argue about it, at least THINK about it.

Haha but I don't have internalized misogyny, if anything ill defend women simply because they are female - not to the extent CH does, mind you but I just think there are certain behaviours the sexes engage in.
I went on about it heaps last year with regards to Michael and Ben and their ultimate clash.

I agree! If other girls don't like you, then there's a problem with you. It's not that they're jealous! I hate girls who say that!
 
As a guy, when a girl says that "I don't really get along with other girls" then I assume she's a bit of a bitch, not that all the other girls are jealous of her. She may think the other girls are, but again, that's because she's a bit of a bitch.
