Can you hear the fire?
No But I can see the embers and ash, trying to hit my eyes
Hooleydooley you will be exhausted by now ... wont have slept last night watching and waiting ... i understand how scarey it is ... have been through similar
Keep in touch with yr neighbours ... above all listen to the advice the firies give you - they know and understand that beast of a fire better than anyone
Too True Crimmy, I was watching after getting turned back, and I never thought it might come here ...... I know people who have lost their homes in Yarloop - although it is 'unconfirmed' bush telegraph told me ......... Scarey Shit! They gave an advise tonight/this morning - most people might be persay - but I am worried ..........
now that is SCAREY - Scarey here as well, they are the firebullets here, that are flung to klms away happening here atm - you never know what is going to be hit and where ...... lots of dry grass around here, all different locations - no real gullys, just pastoral land - plains in a Scarp........... Eastery Winds, with a touch of a Northerly or Southerly just stir it all upThe first real bushfire I have ever experienced was at the foot of Mount Coolum, and the roar of it was frightening.

The township of Yarloop was going to get it - and that is s sad
