Well he called the court about it and they told him to lodge a form online which puts it back on them about mistaken identity (sorry I have forgotten the terminology). So basically he puts a defence in and they need to prove it's him. Which they can't since he has never owned a company in his life. He isn't using a lawyer for this though and were just figuring out if that's ok because it is going to cost to do so and it just seems ridiculous that we will need to. Were not sure if we should tbh. Surely once he shows documentation than it's an easy resolution.

At least it will put it back on them. Sounds like it should be straight forward from then? Personally I wouldn't get a lawyer unless it becomes more difficult. They cost a fortune!

That's what we were thinking. Plus the people who talked to us when we called were quite helpful. So at least we have an idea of some sorts. Just silly this whole thing.

Well I guess I should post that I almost lost my wallet today, there was 200 dollars in there that was gifted to me, and I hadn't even realised I lost it. My kids first primary school orientation was today and I already love the mothers there since one of them actually walked to my home address to return my wallet to me. Anyways hopefully this will add a little lightness to the thread

Wow that's so nice of her. Definitely a great first impression. But I bet you also made a great first impression which further incentivised her to go that extra mile.

This however is not so nice. What a crazy scenario, I've never heard of such a thing - I hope it can be sorted quickly if nothing else. What a pain for you all. You must have been massively WTF when he first got served, at least he isn't actually being sued I guess.

We all have aspects of our past that we don't like and that's a fact, some people are more open about this than others, and really if there's a chance that it will be used as ammunition later then fair enough to be quiet. I would think what is a much more important indicator of a persons character and the like is who they are today and what they do in the present tense, so really that's all we should be judged on primarily.

I can remember coming on and reading it and thinking "this is such a clear case of bullying, and all involved are so deep in their frenzy of torment towards one lone poster, they don't even see it...". It actually made me very very sad to see one person treated that way by a pack.

That was so awful on so many levels and as a mother of a son who is around your age it was upsetting and confronting to read.

Human nature at its very worst.

By the way, I disagree with your opinion of what happened in that thread. I think on the whole, people were honestly just baffled by Jordan announcing he had blocked us all. Sure that brought some laughs from a 'group' but we were only placed in a 'group' by Jordan himself lol!
