Busy busy busy :( trying to squish a month of paperwork into hardly any working days hasn't been much fun. But I'm nearly there and am making sure I eat at many choc gold coins as I can :D I still haven't wrapped one single present! Kids are having some grandma time this weekend so i will be present wrapping then rewarding my efforts with a wine :)
Sounds fantastic.

Christmas is such a magical time for little ones and a manic time for grown ups.

You posted your tree in the xmas thread yet?

Not yet. We always do Christmas photos & I put them in a card for the aunties & uncles we only see once a year, but this year has been hectic & I'm thinking we won't get to it til Saturday. I'll get some good tree shots & post later.

Has anyone seen the trailer for the Imitation Game and intend seeing it? I read a novel set around Bletchley and I am interested in going.

Sensitive Santa at Healesville Sanctuary. Lovely and well done. Nothing to be stressed about and great surroundings.

I haven't heard anything about it.

Since BB finished I have once again fallen in love with reading. What you you rate the book?!

I bought a box set of three books by Robert Harris. Fatherland, where Hitler won WW2, set in Berlin in 1962. Archangel, where an historian tracks down a diary belonging to Stalin and Enigma, set in 1943 Bletchley, dealing with the Uboat change of code and a potential spy inside Bletchley. I quite enjoyed them because I like books that have a decent percentage of truth mixed with viable fiction. That is an alternative to what we know. The Berkut is one such book. The Americans and the Russians are racing each other to find and capture Hitler who escaped the bunker. I've read it a few times.

Long story short, if you could buy books in the app, amazon would have to give apple a cut.

Register your Amazon account in the kindle app.
Then just use safari or chrome browser on your iPad and go to Amazon, when you buy the book it will ask you which device you would like the Ebook delivered and select your iPad.

Then go into the kindle app and it should be automagically there.

i want to get some small gifts for my teachers preschool teachers, but not sure what to get. I was thinking a box of chocolates, but hubby thinks how unoriginal and although he is right, there are 6 teachers to buy for. It's just easier to do the box of chocolate gift imo
