Putting a frypan in the oven, what a fucking disaster! I grabbed the scalding handle when it was on the bench, not once, but twice! My brain is just so used to picking it up with the handle, it automatic pilots and I end up with my hand in the cold water jug!

It really does finish chicken breast nicely though.

Oh oopsy, I did not think to clarify not to touch the handle haha, but yeah so counterintuitive not to!

Oh yeah kids are actually the worst for spreading germs, I work around kids and toddlers and I've learnt to just embrace being slightly sick all the time, every now and then a virus will knock me around though.

And actually, speaking of which, I had a crash course in parenting yesterday when one of my pre school girls had freaking diarrhoea all day long and lucky me was in charge of dealing with that. Not cool.

gawd damn it! I missed all the frying pan chat!!

I only discovered the finishing off frittata's under the grill a couple of years back - I just kept the handle out of the oven cos the grill had it's own little door - then we reno'd the kitchen and my new oven has one door that opens like a fridge door, with no separate grill door :( So I went on a search for a frypan to go totally inside the oven and what I found was a $10 Aldi special - it's for camping, it has a little removable handle! While it's not the best frypan, it's good enough & save n snug in my oven, I just use mitts to get him out :)
Hello cheeky monkey!

I couldn't believe I grabbed the hot handle, not once but twice!

I got it out of the oven with a mit, but grabbed it by the handle (twice) to put it back in the oven!

Diarrhoea in preschool aged is the worst. They have dodgy control of their sphincter at the best of times. Add a stomach cramp and a squirtable consistency and you have a Code Brown war zone .

It's not really. He is a keyboard warrior.

It is just unsettling to have a stranger that fixated on every part of your private life. He was rummaging through Bleachy's private life last week. I get it to a point when he fixates and obsesses on me. I am well known for my confrontational and cuntish qualities. But Bleachy?! I mean you will never find a more perfect human. I bet he even perspires kindness!!!!

It's seems like we are treated to a nice break atm.

Aaahhhh being sick sucks! Got a head cold atm, nose is congested and I keep sneezing.... this is what happens when you live with little kids. Both nephew's are sicks as well. Been teaching them to cough into their elbows.... might be a while before they fully embrace that habit tho.
Darn children. In first year of primary teaching I felt like I was basically sick all year round. Took a while for my immune system to build up the defence I think!

Everyone has their own witch doctor medicine.... I take garlic and horse radish tablets and drink lemon and Manuka honey in hot water!

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Haha a friend of mine works in a pre school and she got some on her clothes the other day. She was less than impressed and went into her boss' office and demanded a pay rise!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who coughs and sneezes into my elbow, left one for preference. Not glad to know that colds are the thing atm. I'm not sure if I'm getting one, have one that's been hovering for months in a gentle, I'm used to it way or just have the tired sniffles.

Ew. I would have quit not asked for a pay rise! No amount of money could make me put of with literal shit. Figurative sure; not literal. Also I take it your sprog hasn't arrived then Jessy.

No I've been before plenty of times but not since I was a messy teenager. This trip was with my mum so it was a more cultured trip. ;) It's given me the travel bug again though. I need to find myself a rich sugar daddy to pay my way across the world (Hiiii @Witty Banter!).
Ohhhh Consuela! That last bit was the Wrong thing to say!!

But nice to see you. (We do have internet over here).
