Totally agree.I think whatever gives you the most confidence is the best way to go...as with anything.
And add a pretty perfume, a dress you love, painted toenails and a good foundation and you become a super model.

I took to it like a nymph to the porn industry baby!!It took me a while to get used to it. I slowly started reading on my iPad then got the kindle and nowadays I don't buy physical copy books at all. I mainly use Amazon but search between a few other e-book stores including iBooks for the cheapest.
Handbrake is a great little tool to convert any e-book into a format that is the right one for whichever device or e-reader you use.
While she is still as ugly as a hat full of arseholes, she is much better.
Have to respectfully disagree on this point. I do both.Once you go electronics, you will never go back to traditional books.
believe the novelty of snow wears off after you've had to shovel your way clear of it once or twice and winter sets in for a few monthsShould I be lolling like a loller? I feel maybe I should.... (even though there was SNOW HERE LAST NIGHT!)....
Glad he liked it! Tell him I lolled at his dance movesWhile she is still as ugly as a hat full of arseholes, she is much better.
Oh my God, Shadow! I showed my partner that tutu pic, and he lolled like a loller! You should do a calendar and make some $$$$. She is so loveable looking!
Happily I will not have to shovel snow. But...winter...yes..probably can be a wee bit bleak. But I have to say, in contrast to Melbourne, it seems like at least winter here has some sort of point to it, if it manages to produce snow. Don't ask - not rational!!believe the novelty of snow wears off after you've had to shovel your way clear of it once or twice and winter sets in for a few monthsgood luck!!!
He has no idea I put that online!Glad he liked it! Tell him I lolled at his dance moves![]()
Libraries. I use them a lot and on occasion I buy books. I have a lot of 'friends' on facebook. A lot of them are people I know irl, some are family, some I have never met but we belong to groups for the games we play. I try my best not to be negative on there as some people I know tend to have the negativity aspected cornered and some things are best kept off there. I'm more into posting photos of things that make me laugh, are quirky, clever, lovely to look at, that sort of thing. Some people prefer the weight and feel of the real deal ... I love my ereader (dont have an ipad or tablet) ... have a huge library of trashy books saved to read late at night when i need to switch off brain and sleep
I no longer want to spend $30 on a new release and clutter house with books (already have 3 bookcases filled with husband's grandfathers reading library which he refuses to cull back ... drives me nuts!!!!I dont expect nor want my family to keep every book I read forever ... i think he should go through them .. keep the ones he made notes in ...or a few which he'd like to read for hinsrlf
That's silly. It was just learning to share (despite scope for escalation). LOLOk, you are winning so far. Next bid???
Having lived in Melbourne for 5 years I understand plus friends in Canada (NL) and the US laugh at me when I complain about our (relatively) mild wintersHappily I will not have to shovel snow. My oldest sister buys books, passes them to second sister, she sends them to mum and I get them last. We dog-ear them and write our initials in the front when we're done. My mum is getting on in years, I will cherish those books with her initials in the front. I do love my kindle though, use it every night so I don't wake MrW with a bed light.I like that you can readily pass on a physical book to a friend. And that you can - if so inclined - make notes in the margins. But.., if weight/space is the pressing issue, ebook totally fabulous. Also has built in electronic dictionary/translation. Which compensates somewhat for not being able to write notes in the margins.
Yes i love using local libraries too but get a bit annoyed at having to wait for books to come in ... Ill pay the money rather than have to wait for 3 weeks ...Libraries. I tend to be kind to my books and instead of remembering page numbers I use bookmarks unless it's a very cheap throw away book. Definitely in library books.Geez I'm OCD when it comes to my books. They're kept in mint condition. I'd never ever dog-ear them or write in them. The horror. How hard is it to just remember the page number people!? I'm so particular in fact that I used swap my trade formats for b-formats when they'd come out because I couldn't stand my bookshelves having all these different sized books.
These days I mainly use my Kobo eReader but still can't seem to pass a bookstore without buying something.
And you realise none of us mere mortals could win anyway....That's silly. It was just learning to share (despite scope for escalation). LOL
I am new to writing in books. But now I do it all the time. (Translations. If I just look up the word without writing it down, I can be sure the very same word will occur two pages on and I will have already forgotten it).Geez I'm OCD when it comes to my books.
