@Inigo Montoya - check this site out >> http://community.babycenter.com/post/a60005572/weekend_beauty_challenge-_bobby_pin_hair_art << I was looking for sites to get tips when I got my hair straightener & stumbled across this American baby center forum. They do a challenge each week & post hacks etc at the start and products they used. Every now & then they'll post a link to previous weeks (there have been make up ones before) I saw one the other day that was matte v gloss lipstick and was surprising to see the differences. Also made me fall in love with matte & brought myself some $5.00 cheapies (again from what they were posting) and I <3 them. You are going to look fab on your cruise :D

I have a bad feeling this may be me, or will be soon. I do not go overboard at all but I started at 25 and have really amped it up now in my late twenties. I think it's fairly subtle but I am surrounded be either enablers or haterzzz so ill never get a straight answer.

I think whatever gives you the most confidence is the best way to go...as with anything.

Oh interesting. My kindle has seen better days but while it still works I can't totally justify a new one - that could be money spent on injectables lol. Let's hope it breaks soon!
I've got one and I really like it. I think I also like it because when I'm reading on my iPad I get too distracted by the notifications etc.

I've never tried reading a book via e book or kindle. I will try it though. I do like the true crime books, and biographies.
It took me a while to get used to it. I slowly started reading on my iPad then got the kindle and nowadays I don't buy physical copy books at all. I mainly use Amazon but search between a few other e-book stores including iBooks for the cheapest.

Handbrake is a great little tool to convert any e-book into a format that is the right one for whichever device or e-reader you use.

I've never heard of Handbrake - have always used Calibre to convert books to .epub for my ereader
will have to check it out :)

yes I can't see me giving up using my ereader simply because I can use an ipad/tablet to do the same thing - mainly because they are physically bigger than my ereader which fits nicely into my bag without need of special cover (its inbuilt)
I just love being able to resize the font - so if I'm on the train I'll make it tiny so noone reads over my shoulder and judges me ;) lol

Phew. All that holiday babysitting was thoroughly exhausting!

does the ipad cook meals for you?
does it do the laundry and ironing for you?
does it free up time from the boring household stuff for you so you truly have leisure time?

No, but it does find me delicious recipes, then gives me a step by step method how to make it.
No. But it entertains me by helping me catch up on my missed TV shows like survivor and the bachelor
No. But See above.

Whoops. Calibre is what I meant. Handbrake is for video files :)
phew - I had googled it and thought ok I'm looking up the wrong thing ... I find Calibre so easy to use

what type of file do you need for books for ipad - can they use epub files?[DOUBLEPOST=1448250693][/DOUBLEPOST]

yeah but my pc does that ... and during work hours ... such a clever little thing it is ;) :p

basically I'm trying to convince myself that this is a WANT and not a NEED ... and therefore can wait ... damn ipads though - they never go on sale!!!

You are far from plain looking. Don't sell yourself short.

Yes, I also meant to add this @Trala, but as usual could only talk about myself. Whilst I'm certain you were not fishing for compliments I would not say you're plain!
Ha!

Idiots!!!!

See that is because you both like me. Liking me adds to my sex appeal twenty fold, and the best part. The more you like me the prettier I become!!

Sadly it works the opposite way the more you dislike me, hence "you have an ugly renegade 70's sticky outy tooth...".
