Frocks, Frolics and Fotos

I love Parks so much. Community is another of that type of show.

Why is it all the good funny shows get buried late at night? They could make them hits if they wnated to - did it with Frasier, nobody watched that for ages, and ages.

I've watched the first season of Community, after hearing lots of people saying it was good. Love it!

I didn't even know they showed it here! I download everything.

Community - was burried late at night, next week it's repeats at 5.30pm. you never know when it will be on, on GO I think.
Community/Parks/30 Rock - are my most loved US comedies and all are treated like crap bt programers.

At least most of the good UK stuff is on ABC and have sane programing.

Yep, that's how I came across Parks for the first time... it was randomly on ch7 (I think) late one night. Then I went and searched it out so i could watch it from the beginning of the first season!

Demi looks good but behaves appallingly.

I love those vintage shots, kxk. I love vintage. If I was lucky enough to be ridiculously wealthy back then, I would have chosen this Dior gown...

Oooooo yes 50s dior is divine.
I recall a conversation between my mum & gran about dior's new look, and how gran was in hospital before new dior, coming out of hospital- you had to have the New Look new length post war, they got material back basically for big swishy skirts:)
And they talked about how lucky we are not to have to follow rules anymore - clothing rules were pretty rigid until the 60s freed it up it seems, not wearing a girdle was rude, juggling flesh was rude! Loved those fashion history tales.

My mum thought she was Grace Kelly(catholic and elegant lady), tried to make my sis into Audrey(she has the same nose), and tried to fashion me into a thai princess. LOL.

I love you avatar of course - THE most stylish/elegant woman ever to live I believe. and she wore some of the best stuff onscreen.
My fave Audrey's film clothes are My Fair Lady, - the ball gown/ascot/and the pink dress; tiffany's, sabrina, and Two for the Road - divine pop 60s stuff.
And yours??

kxk, so pleased you received the Tux from your nephew for your birthday. Did you wear it around the house today? :)

Ooo I love it, and no it was a bit warm for that maybe later....and my sis did get me the white pants and a top for herself. Very flattering designs, tried lots the other day, the giraffe stuff is surprising on very nice.
It's all on sale, got the whole suit for $130.
Have my eye on a flirty dress too - his stuff is generally so not my style, all the sexy dresses, gold and animal print - I'm more a suit and never wear patterns girl so I had only really looked at the pants on offer.
Now i want to embrace a bit of this flirty/sexy thing, I so rarely wear dresses -

dress I want, model is a giant - hits just on the knee and has nice back.

But I came here to post 2 nice famous men

Matt Damon, And after years of avoiding rumours, Damon revealed in a Playboy interview this week why he chose to keep mum on the topic.

Pic failed - INSERT - IMAGINE MATT DAMON & BEN AFLECK PICS

'I never denied those rumours because I was offended and didn’t want to offend my friends who were gay - as if being gay were some kind of f**ing disease,' Damon said.

Noooooooooo, no he's talking about how they kept saying he and Ben were gay........and they both have heaps of gay friends and thought it insulting to deny the gay rumours - instead they just went about their lives, got married, had kids and ignored the bullshit.

The perfect way to handle it. Because, frankly my dear, who gives a damn!

But for sumptuous costume design, I don't think you can go past Marie Antoinette. It didn't get good review but I loved it; and the costume designer got an Oscar.

The kid standing directly in front of Jon Bon Jovi is going to grow up to be a heartbreaker! What a cutie!

I love that him and his wife have been together since being high school sweethearts, but as if he would have been faithful with all the groupies all over him in the 80's! They HAD to have had some kind of "arrangement".

Love that Kylie rose dress ..........oooo she's a wild rose:)

Jam tha movie looks gorgeous, might have to chase that for a frock perv.....aww Audrey is so cute in that silly movie

And Shell - why?
I prefer to believe JBJ is married to a sexy woman and they are in love - they both have loving smiley eyes:)

And here is THE fashion, literary fashion
