Finale Alert! Happening 8 December

The ratings may be great but the season is far from being well received. Either way, considering the HMs have been talking about the end date on the streams for a while, I’m guessing their contract agreements must’ve stated the pre-determined date. It’s even earlier than what we theorised.

So, like everything else these producers have promised this year, the whole “no date is set” and “possibility of extension” was simply to ward off the negative feedback they were receiving on social media before the series started (from casual viewers already complaining about the short series at the time) just long enough to get the show rolling and garner an initial viewership.

Two weeks left to wrap a four-week season… good riddance. We can already see where this is all headed. The way things are going at the moment, it’s becoming increasingly apparent they probably have pre-determined finalists in mind too.

If anything positive can come from this lacklustre over-produced soapie they’ve pulled together this year, is that hopefully next year they can pull their heads in, blame their misdoings on this being a “trial season”, extend the run and realise this is Big Brother and not Love Island while they have a chance to save some face.

Embarrassing for Ten, honestly. It’s been said before but they should’ve just waited til next year.

My gut instinct is they won’t. It’s gonna be back next year, likely for a longer period, but these guys just won’t be able to help themselves… it’s bullshit, really.
 
I really, really hope they listen to viewer feedback. I can’t believe I’m saying this but there were certain elements (casting in particular) that channel 7 did better. The live stream was maybe the one success and that has issues.

They can probably get away with endless showmances for a 4 week run but any longer in a future and viewers will likely drop off.

It's not like Love Island where you start watching it knowing the whole thing is gonna be about hookups.
 
Wow... over 12 months of hyping up the "BIGGER & BADDER" season, and it's over in a matter of a month. Insanity. They have a LOT to think about for next year, I genuinely hope they gain more crew members from the OG 10 era... and even the 9 era... as this is literally a Temu version of BB.

To be honest I’m kinda relieved because I really hate this cast. I am in no way attached to them nor do I really care about what’s happening. I’m watching out of habit now.

Unfortunately I think BBUS this year will be the best season of reality tv that I’ve watched this year. What a shame because there was so much promise and hope for this reboot.

I am hopeful for next year but I’m putting all my money on further disappointment
