Game Eviction Prediction - Week 1

Who is going on Sunday?

  • Jane

    Votes: 6 7.1%
  • Michael

    Votes: 44 51.8%
  • Holly

    Votes: 35 41.2%

  • Total voters
    85
It's a tough one. I'd love to see Holly go, for the drama.

But considering it's Vote To Save, I can foresee Michael going by default because he hasn't been featured enough and there may not be enough people actively voting to save him. Whereas if it was Vote To Evict, Holly definitely would top the votes and be evicted.

It'll be interesting to see what happens... I went for Michael in the poll.

Michael is going. Holly will have a fanbase
Yeah I know theyre different people but a lot of the reason I feel Tahan made it as far she did was people could easily just vote to save her for being 'hot'.

I feel it's an easy vote to save Holly for the same reasons. They could be at more risk under evict votes though.

I'd love to see a secret triple eviction next week (mid-week). Three out, three in.

We need to remove some of the dead weight. There a task today that was meant to be a bit of goofy fun, and some people had "too much dignity" to play. FFS, if you can't get behind the spirit of things then just fuck off and bring in some fresh faces.

She might be an influencer, but how many of her audience is Australian is undefined - and amongst that group, how many even watch/vote is another.

Don't underestimate Michael. He will certainly have his fans.

Also, I'd love some validity on the voting system. I'm all for it being free, but it's a major flaw that we can't vote more than once.

More importantly, since the voting doesn't involve any cost, who's to say they don't just rig it if the free votes aren't going in their favour? Genuine question - is that something they can get away with when there's no money involved? I'd love to know.

I’d hazard a guess that because there is no money involved, they could get away with it - voting being part of the format but ultimately the producers having control of the story arc

I’ve actually voted to save Holly so Michael gets evicted. I feel like enough of the house is against her now that she’ll go up again next week, whereas Michael going would push Mia into that spot.

Plus I think Michael going would rattle Bruce and Jane a bit

Speaking of eviction predictions, I have a bad feeling we won't get much of an eviction interview. Not this week anyway.

We only get about 50-minutes on Sunday (excluding ads) for Mel content, Daily Show recaps from two days (Friday and Saturday) and eviction announcement. I think it'll be the same as how BBUK structures their eviction episodes. The difference is they have an after-show where they host the interview and video packages. We don't have that luxury.

So, I have a gut feeling we'll get very little from the evictee... which will be disappointing, and not very OG.

Sharing the following post for relevance to the above, re: voting. I don't like our chances.

I wonder if Ten will use the Big Brother evictee of each week as a special guest on one of their other shows to drive eyeballs over there?

They don't have anything suitable. The Project was the most appropriate.
The Project definitely.

Only other options it seems is Sam Pang Tonight and The Cheap Seats. Can't imagine Sam Pang having much time for it but maybe Cheap Seats could do something especially with the link to Mel.

The Cheap Seats ends for the year next week and Sam Pang Tonight is a bit too Late Show-ey, which usually hosts only a couple bigger name guests each ep.

I can't see the evictee being interviewed anywhere other than radio.
