Absolutely, 100% yes. It is worth watching - one of the best behind the scenes shows for any show ever - Russell T is always fascinating, as is David Tennant.

I don't think they'll introduce a new companion at Christmas - that will be next year's job. I think part of the reason Martha went is because they couldn't keep flogging the unrequited love thing. Maybe the next companion won't fall in love with him.
On a completely different note, neither me or Mrs. Pop can get the Scissor Sisters' "I Can't Decide" out of our heads.

I'd be interested in what capacity Barbara Windsor appears. Dimensions in Time has been revealed to be non-canon and with the line in The Impossible Planet about "the best Christmas Walford's ever had" as well as the "clip of EastEnders" shown in Army of Ghosts, we know EastEnders is fiction in the canon universe of Doctor Who. Surely then, Barbara Windsor is a real celebrity in the same universe so wouldn't someone recognise her and wonder? Then again, they didn't have that problem with Tracy-Ann Oberman playing Yvonne Hartman or Raji James playing Dr. Rajesh Singh in Army of Ghosts and Doomsday so who knows. I hope it doesn't make a difference because I certainly want to see Charlie Clements as the thirteenth Doctor (with Chris Barrie as the eleventh, of course)...
Incidentally, which actors would others like to see playing the Doctor in future incarnations once our Mr. Tennant decides to leave the role?
My picks are:
Chris Barrie as the eleventh Doctor, Robert Lindsay as the twelfth Doctor and Charlie Clements as the thirteenth Doctor. I can see all three of those actors doing great things with the role and the latter would be a great throwback to the tenth Doctor's complaint of "always wanted to be ginger"...

The Doctor is male. Why he would regenerate into a female is beyond me...
We had Romana and I think she is about as close to a female Doctor as we ever will (and should) get.

What was that about the Doctor not knowing why QE was angry with him? Okay, obviously the episode referenced is later in the time line but doesn't the Doctor already know about these future events as he has already experienced them? I think that was an error, but it was so pointedly made that it couldn't possibly be - unless RTD got lazy with "proofing" the script? I'm puzzled.

Doctor Who: "The Shakespeare Code" POSSIBLE SPOILERS
Well this was as I said a fun episode. The Doctor and Martha go back
in time to 1599 and they meet Shakespeare.
I liked this episode, if not for some old Dr. Who lore, especially in the
Tom Baker Dr. who claims to have met Shakespeare. Yet this one
has no memory of the encounter, nor the man himself.
Possible Spoilers
They encounter witches who in fact are actually aliens bent on opening
a portal to their own kind and having them live on Earth.
I did like the funny bit at the end when Queen Victoria sees the
Doctor, but that too seems a mistake. Didn't they meet in the
last series with Rose and the werewolves?

Yes Its usually about the show that just aired with interviews, it's worth a watch i have the first 2 seasons.

I can't get "Voodoo Child" out of my head. I'll probably still be humming it every now and then a couple of weeks from now. That's got to be one of the catchiest/hypnotic songs of recent times.
On another side note: I'm probably going to get ripped a new one for this (judging from the reactions of other fans I've encountered), but I miss Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor. Does anyone else feel this way? I can't seem to warm to David Tennant. He's OK but for some reason he doesn't 'fit' for me.

No I too miss Christopher Eccleston and it's a pity he decided to leave
so early in the series. He was had a hard edgy feel to the way he played
the Doctor.

I didn't get to see Christopher play the Doctor, he would have been pretty intense I suspect?
I love David Tennant though, he is so alive and quirky, just like a mad scientist!
Tonight's episode was fun, references to Harry Potter was kinda weird, especially since David was in it.

Thanks Atom! All crystal clear. So the Doctor is right indeed in being puzzled! Queen Elizabeth was a long ways before Victoria. So I guess the Doctor will indeed find out later.

Hey, I'm calm. I don't get riled up over Doctor Who. Well, only if you try and convince there is a better Doctor than Jon Pertwee...
As for the Queen Elizabeth thing, he obviously has no idea why he is her sworn enemy but I daresay she will pop up next season so as we can find out.

Well I wouldn't be surprised if some script magic sees a Torchwood reference in "the" upcoming Elizabethan episode next season. Hey, while ever the Doctor has a TARDIS to get around in, anything is possible.
