But it doesn't? Apart from the BBC being shitty with their media release, the article is just more vague quotes like "I'm going to have to blind myself to certain things that I thought were wrong". What things?
"I wouldn’t do anything to damage the show but they did things to damage me". What did they do?
Having a relationship breakdown with your boss a common situation but it can be either side that is the problem. It's a red flag for me when some one makes very broad yet vague claims of being victimised but won't produce any specific examples. I've worked with people like this before and they end up being toxic tornadoes in the workplace.

What happened?!Sames. I've been sitting here, crying my eyes out. Hoping to get some comfort from these threads & rereading his old posts. He found the good in just about everything. Watching Dr who will def be tough knowing he's not here to gasbag with
He passed away last month. February started a thread in the lounge & the BBB fam found another forum friend of his that was also real life friends & shared the devastating news. I don't get on here as much as I used too & I'm kicking myself for missing out on more chats with him

February started a thread in the lounge & the BBB fam found another forum friend of his that was also real life friends & shared the devastating news. I don't get on here as much as I used too & I'm kicking myself for missing out on more chats with him
It was Sephrenia who first messaged me when she noticed he hadn't been posting, as we all posted in the Masterchef thread. I'd noticed he'd not been posting, so between us we decided to make a thread to ask if anyone had heard from him. Just so not what anyone expected to hear, and such a sad loss

…hey all… there have been so many wonderful comments on here and elsewhere from all of you wonderful people about our great friend Meglos… they were really nice… well done everyone… some comments even made an old fart like me tear up to make me on the brink of crying… but because I’m as tough as toenails (sure Sticky ya big wuss) I didn’t… if Meglos were here now I could just hear him now saying something like… “thanks everyone for all the nice comments and I thank you… but how about we all start talking about everything to do with the Doctor Whoniverse again?… let’s move on eh?”… lol!…

Dr Who… episode seven… The Legend of Ruby Sunday…
PART ONE…
…wow!… I love the opening shots of the Tardis flying to the Unit headquarters!…
…but… I did notice that when the Tardis slid into the headquarters that the people in there their eyes did not follow the Tardis until it’s eventual stop… they should’ve swivelled their heads as if they watched it from it’s entry until it’s eventual stop… (I know that it’s a tad bit finicky but I do have a good eye for detail at times… it’s just me being picky… sorry about that… lol!)… see here…
…as the Tardis comes in a soldier says… “Doctor on the bridge”… (obviously a tribute to Star Trek lol!)… I like that… it’s so funny!… I love Kate as the leader of Unit and Colonel Ibrahim too and I hope that we see more of him BUT… I do not like these four at all… Rose/Harriet/Vlinx or Morris Gibbons ‘’thirteen years old, accelerated genius, thanks to a passing asteroid’’… (um… yeah… sure… whatever… how piss poor is that?)… I just couldn’t warm to them at all… I know that Rose was in the earlier episodes but I didn’t like her then either…
…when The Doctor introduces Ruby to Rose he said… “two shades of red”… (yeah I got it Russell T)… The Doctor asks for everyone’s help in finding Susan Twist’s character and whoa!… hang on… these two scenarios… why didn’t we see them Russell T?…
…obviously the second one is Russell T’s version of a ‘Borg’… everyone in Unit knows her already and have worked out the Tardis anagram already… her first name is ‘Susan’… “Susan is the name of my granddaughter!”… The Doctor immediately exclaims… (why does he immediately assume that it’s her?… there are millions of ‘Susans’ in the world… so why does her name being Susan HAVE to be HIS granddaughter?… it doesn’t make sense to me)… cue the opening credits…
…when asked a question by Ruby The Doctor says “the truth is, Time Lords can regenerate their faces like a disguise… so we look different, but we’re still the same”… (okay… why do they regenerate their faces ‘like a disguise’?… a disguise from who?… it’s normally a face dished out to them willy nilly rather than as part of a ‘disguise’… hmmmmm!… again… whatever Russell T)…
…they have a direct live link to Susan Triad’s headquarters with Mel (great to see her again)… they’re watching a dress rehearsal for a speech for later on… apparently Susan Triad is a really nice person so I wonder why we’ve always thought that she isn’t then?… wow!… what a (Susan) twist eh?… lol!… when talking about the night The Doctor went to Ruby road when Ruby was born he was asked “you’ve got a Time machine… can’t you just go back?”… he replies… “I’ve been to Ruby road once and I can’t cross my own history”… (why not?… you did it in Ecclestone’s era in ‘Father’s Day’?)… he says that he has ‘Time locked’… himself out of it… Rose says… “that’s not like you… you love to break the rules”… (okay… how does she know that?)…
…apparently there is CCTV footage of the night that Ruby was abandoned… the camera was positioned about 66 metres away in a storage yard… (has anyone ever noticed that Russell T uses the number 66 a lot in his episodes?… just an observation)… Ruby has a copy of the footage at home… (that’s handy isn’t it?)… it’s a VHS tape… remember those kiddies?… lol!… wow!… either Rose is very tall or Ruby is very short lol!… they both go to Ruby’s house to get the tape… Mel has some sort of gizmo in the palm of her hand… is it a microphone to listen into conversations?… nope!… it was to get a DNA sample of Susan Triad…
…back at Ruby’s house they get the tape… Mrs Flood has come to babysit Ruby’s grandmother while her mum goes to Unit with them… Mrs Flood says… “I nursed my old mum through Diabetes and a hip operation… she died from an ulcer… but that was when I wasn’t looking”… lol!… funny as… when they all go to Unit headquarters Mrs Flood starts talking and it all goes dark and looks directly at the camera (isn’t that what is considered to be in TV or movies breaking the fourth wall of cinematography?)… she look quite scary to be honest…
…she says directly to the camera… “he waits no more!”… a big storm rumbles in over London… end of part one… cheers.

…Kate and The Doctor are having a chat… she says to him… “if you have a granddaughter, that means you got kids”… he replies… “well, not quite… not yet”… she says… but… you can have a granddaughter before you have a daughter?”… he just replies… “life of a Time Lord… (huh?… what kind of explanation is that ffs?… that explains sweet fuck all to me… what a cop out!… (calm down Sticky… move on… move on…)…
…it’s nice to see Kate hug him… and then Mel… Ruby and Rose arrive with the tape… her mum has been contained in another room… The Doctor overrides the system to allow her to join them?… why?… why is she being allowed to roam into Unit like that?… just because she’s Ruby’s mum?… again… it makes no sense… even the Prime Minister doesn’t have access to it “especially the Prime Minister” as the Thunderbirds ‘Brains’ says… oops!… I mean Morris…
…The Doctor asks Kate if she has a ‘Time Window’…huh?… what’s that?… they go to this ‘Time Window’… there’s so much gobbledygook scientific type jargon being spoken to make it sound like even more science fiction oriented that it makes it sound quite silly actually…
…the ‘Time Window’ turns out to be a sort of Russell T’s version of a ‘Holodeck’ on Star Trek… The Doctor laughs at it being so primitive to him (talk about being rude and condescending or what?)… they get glimpses of history although it’s not always very clear at times… apparently they’re going to use ‘the power of the VHS tape to create a 3D version of that night… (as I said… it’s a Star Trek Holodeck)… they play the tape… Ruby’s mum is now in the highly top secret room… what’s she even there for?… actually… why the hell is Rose even in this episode?… she’s done sweet fuck all too…
…okay… can ANYONE please tell me what the fuck this is all about?… it sounds to me like I was watching the famous Abbott and Costello ‘Who’s on First’ routine… please explain it to my mere pittance of a brain so I understand it… I beg of you… maybe I’m having a ‘senior moment’ or something?… (again… calm down Sticky… calm down mate before you burst a poofle valve)…
…the machine is about to start and it starts snowing in the Holodeck… everyone says “it’s impossible”…the machine starts… the scene appears…
…her real mum appears… nobody can see her face… then the Tardis appears on that night…
…Colonel Chidozie starts to check if anything is behind the Tardis… why is he walking backwards to see what’s behind it?… he’s backing up!… he is now completely behind the Tardis… no real soldier would check something out by walking into a situation backwards… again… it doesn’t make sense… whoa!… when the Tardis leaves a swirling cloud appears!…
…I like the special effect of the cloud… wow!…this is running into three parts… see you in the final part… cheers.

…Colonel Chidozie has gone missing of course… (we all knew that as soon as he backed in behind the Tardis didn’t we?… be honest… we just knew!)… lol!… when the cloud forms Ruby’s mum says… “it’s the Beast!”…
…(okay… that was the name of this guy in ‘The Satan’s Pit’ a few seasons back… how the hell does she know about it in order to say that?… again… it doesn’t make sense)…
…they talk to Colonel Chidozie in the cloud… he says that he is in Hell… (and obviously dead I assume)… the whole place explodes…
…all that shrapnel exploding around them and The Doctor and Ruby don’t even get a scratch?… look at the damage to the glass!… and they don’t even get a scratch?… come on Russell T… how are we supposed to accept that crap?… I mean… REALLY?… and Colonel Chidozie?… um… yep!… he sure is dead (who woulda thunk it eh?)…
…when The Doctor says… “I’m so sorry… Kate gives him the filthiest look… she then barks out some gobbledygook orders over her mouthpiece and then The Doctor contacts Mel… The Doctor starts having a guilt trip and Mel tells him to snap out of it and then they continue their journey to see Susan Tiad… he meets her and shakes her hand… she asks him… “Dr Who?”… funny lol!… he realises that she’s not HIS Susan… (no shit Sherlock!… jeez!)… moving on… (calm down Sticky ffs!)… she has to go but as she does he asks her about her dreams… she admits to them kind of… Unit have isolated an image of the Tardis on the VHS tape…
…now the Tardis in Unit headquarters is growling and groaning… Susan Triad does a dance on stage to begin her broadcast… everyone but essential staff are asked to leave ‘the bridge’ in Unit headquarters… they scan The Tardis… Susan Triad starts to chuck a funny while doing her Worldwide telecast… oh dear… Harriet is being possessed and is babbling on with religious type shit and Susan is now talking about her dreams…
…WHY HAVE’NT WE SEEN THESE EPISODES RUSSELL T?… Ruby and a female soldier (she’ll die next I suppose)… are now back at the Time Window… a big cloud is now forming around the real Tardis in Unit… Sutekh’s name now appears on all monitors… now he actually appears in person cuddling the Tardis….
…now Harriet Arbinger (Harbinger… a messenger of God)… is ‘turning’ and Susan too… she touches her assistant… he turns to sand… Ruby sees her mum in the cape in the Time Window… Susan Triad’s distorted figure walks towards The Doctor menacingly… **roll the credits**… everybody lives unhappily ever after… end of show!…

…so Unit has it’s own version of a Star Trek Holodeck… I used to like it when Unit was a basic military unit without all the ‘Time Tunnel/James Bond/Star Trek/The man from Uncle and Thunderbirds’ type of technology… not this super fandangled type shit… is the Vlinx Units Data version of Star Trek or something for instance?…

…so Unit has it’s own version of a Star Trek Holodeck… I used to like it when Unit was a basic military unit without all the ‘Time Tunnel/James Bond/Star Trek/The man from Uncle and Thunderbirds’ type of technology… not this super fandangled type shit… is the Vlinx Units Data version of Star Trek or something for instance?…
…overall… I didn’t mind the storyline at all minus my above bug bears I guess?… cheers.

I have… mixed feelings after Empire of Death.
BUT more is to be resolved in Seasons 2 & 3, so I don’t think all is as it seems.
And Mrs Flood?!?! Her outfits looking like companions of the past is very interesting!
Also, that Disney money has the effects looking absolutely EPIC!

I'm the exact same, mixed thoughts but overall I enjoyed this season. Especially enjoyed it a lot more than Chibnall's era.
I am happy that Gibson is not leaving as Ruby. I don't think we'll see her in the Christmas special, but will definitely see her next season, as per this post.
